The staff and service was excellent with timely drink orders. My old fashioned was tasty and well crafted. Knowing that birthday cake was coming, I only ordered the grouper over grits and I cannot remember when (with one exception) I have had a better fish dish. All at the table spoke highly of the dishes they ordered. I highly reccomend this restaurant. The only downside is sometimes at peak hours it can be noisy if that is something that bothers one. On this night, we were making the noise so it was not a problem.

At first, we were caught a bit off guard by how inconspicuous the place looked, and could there possibly be any live music every night (as claimed by their official website, which didn't seem to have seen an update since the early 2000s). However, we were proven wrong. There indeed was a live music band! Even on a weeknight all of the locals gather, drink, and have a good time. Everybody seemed super friendly and easygoing, which made our night all the better. If you ever get a chance go and check the place out. It's divey, chill, and overall good time.

A hidden gem that hits every note just right…read more Walking into this place feels like stepping into the coolest Southern dream you never knew you had. The atmosphere blends old barn wood and Edison bulbs with modern art and chill beats--rustic meets trendy in the best way possible. It's got that Southern charm, but with a hipster twist that makes you want to stay way longer than planned. The service? Impeccable. Everyone behind the bar and on the floor was not only lightning-fast but genuinely friendly--like you've known them for years. No pretentious vibes, just good people who love what they do and do it well. Now let's talk beer. The selection is next level. From obscure small-batch craft brews to the classics done right, there's something for every kind of beer lover. IPAs, stouts, lagers--you name it, they've got it, and probably in a version you haven't tried before. The staff actually knows their stuff too, which makes exploring the menu even more fun. But what really seals the deal is the culture. This place oozes identity. Whether it's the local art on the walls, the vinyl playing in the background, or the diverse, effortlessly cool crowd, the vibe is 1000% dialed in. It's the kind of spot where creativity and community come together--and you can feel it. 10/10 would recommend. This isn't just a bar--it's a whole mood.

As for the service, it was just okay. Not bad, but not particularly attentive or memorable either. Unfortunately, the drinks were a major letdown. They just didn't taste good at all, which is disappointing for a lounge where drinks should be a strong point. Overall, I'd come back for the music and atmosphere, but I definitely hope they improve the drink quality.
