The options inside Yosemite were just OK. Nothing too special. We heard that Fremont House was a solid choice for wearables. So we gave it a shot. We should have just started and ended there! First, great staff who were able to help in all kinds of ways. We would go again because it was so nice to find a store where the people working there seemed to care about the store and the products. They were awesome! Next, tremendous selection of wearables focused on both Yosemite and Mariposa. They are very different, unique and fun - much more interesting than we found in the Park. The folks helping us even spent time talking about their designs, shirt colors, etc. Prices were so reasonable and it was great knowing we were supporting local businesses with an eye toward the fashions that customers want. IF you are going to Yosemite and find yourself close to Mariposa, save yourself the LONG, SLOW checkout lines for mass produced souvenirs in the Park and buy from Fremont House.
