This is quite a big new look which sells all the latest fashions at decent prices. They have a large footwear range at the back of the store, along with a decent sized plus size range. They also do great accessories at good prices. read more

The shop has attempted to get some stylish credability recently with the introduction of a home accessory line designed by reality tv funsters Colin and Justin. This store is huge and there are some real bargains if you look hard enough. I recently picked up a massive suitcase for only £22.
Peacocks Stores

I'm not quite sure what to make of Peacocks…read more On all the occasions I visit Clydebank Shopping Centre I get really excited at the prospect of shopping in here. Then I arrive, and can't understand why I was fussed. Peacocks display their best assets in the windows, but once you're in there it can be hard to find anything desirable. Clothes in here often look on the cheap side of cheap, especially their T Shirts. They often have silver writing scrawled all over them from a poorly executed T-shirt transfer, and they look like they're trying too hard to adhere to a trendy gimmick. In most instances, they fail to look "in fashion" entirely. Paul had mention the granny clothing in his review - I don't know why, but this part of the shop is always the most appealing to me. Their knitted clothing looks well made but the men's selection often falls short. It's always worth looking in here in case you find something, but I don't think after all my years of trying I ever have. The comparisons to Primark keep cropping up - not without reason, but for quality and value, Primark hits the mark while Peacocks wavers in its wake.

If you live…read morenear the area and don't have time to go into the city centre, this is a miniature town from town, with a lot of major high street stores to choose from. However, you're more likely to find The More Store and New Look than topshop here, or budget pound stores than supemarkets. That being said, there is a huge Asda right outside it. It's good, but let's just say it's no Buchanan Galleries, and not worth the trip if you don't live nearby.

The old Clydebank FC was knocked down and made into huge retails spaces which were quickly filled by Poundstrecher and a discount shoe shop. The other side of the road became the new home of Next Clearance. "Why doesn't Clydebank have any decent shops?" I used to moan. "What about Topshop, or a Gap?" I suppose Clydebank Shopping Centre is filled with cheap shops because it is based in a town with a lot of poverty. Granted, it's not all bad, there is a decent New Look and Dorothy Perkins and a massive 24 hour Asda. However, Bankies looking for quality retailers end up just making the 15 minute drive to either Braehead or Silverburn or jump on the train to the city centre.

I'm never lucky in TK Maxx and I generally avoid going inside. However, recently my mum brought me here to see if I liked a picture she was thinking of buying. It's not as chaotic as most TK Maxx and everything is organised in a ship shape fashion, you don't need to climb over other shoppers to get to something you think you might like. It was during the day on a Saturday and I was very surprised that it wasn't full to bursting. I managed to find myself a really pretty formal dress which I think I'll wear to my graduation. I also treated myself to a little basket for papers and Uni work. It's really unusual and has a hand made look about it, it's made in a wicker style effect with hardened newspaper entwined into each other, it looks great and was an absolute snip at £5.99!
