an excellent belgian-focused craft brewery in rural ontario. i love the school building setting - it feels immoral and rebellious to be consuming alcoholic beverages in here. i think these guys and gals are really good at what they do. their beers showcase the nuances of belgian beers quite well, and the staff here are enthusiastic to explain each of their products to you. so far i've tried the dubbel, lemonale, petit blond, black sheep (the least belgian beer they have), and a brett pale ale, all which were well above average. they transformed one of the classrooms into a cozy taproom, but you can purchase bottles to-go if you're only just stopping by quickly. the taproom has around 10 taps, featuring their core beers plus some of their specialty brews. note that they do NOT serve full pint sizes, but instead much smaller portions which is an excellent decision considering that it's impossible to get here without driving. you can also do a flight of 4 beers which i recommend since their tap lineup is diverse. their food menu and portions are also minuscule, but the purpose is to serve bar snacks (and not full meals), which pair perfectly with the small beer sizes. i highly recommend the bitterballen, which are bite-size deep fried puff balls with flavourful beef stew inside of them. check this place out, whether you're just getting into craft beer or you're a complete craft beer snob like me

Good beer and friendly people! Really neat to see how they turned an old public school into a brewery!

A hidden gem in Norfolk County. A brewery built in an old public school. Offering great Belgium beers, cool retro atmosphere. Cheese platters and charcuterie boards are great snacks while enjoying the beer!

Fun place for beers and light snacks! My husband and I always come here when we want good beer close to home! The patio is awesome! The place used to be an old school turned into a brewery. Our favorites are the Wit and Belgian blonde. This is a definite go to if you are in the area!

First time visit (breakfast)…read more We arrived. We were quickly greeted and advised that there was about a ten to fifteen minute wait, which was accurate. We were seated. Menus were printed from a laser printer on a sheet of paper, which I don't mind. Four us were provided only one of these menus. We asked for more and provided only one additional sheet of paper. I have to admit, I thought that this was not a really good start. Our order was taken quickly. There was a little bit of a wait for the food to arrive , but nothing unreasonable. I ordered the special which was a omelette with cheese, ham and broccoli. I ordered a fruit cup instead of deep fried potatoes. The fruit cup was nice, all fresh fruit. I'm happy they had an alternative to deep fried potatoes. The omelette I thought the eggs were a little over done, but pretty good none the less. Everybody else's meals received no complaints except they thought the potatoes were greasy. I did taste one and it was like fries cooked in old oil. I'm glad I had the fruit cup. One person had an error that was immediately corrected when mentioned. He ordered a fruit cup as well instead of potatoes, but got the hash browns. Prices were not bad. The restaurant is nice looking, the washrooms were clean. If back in the area, I would try this place again.

This morning (Father's Day) we had to wait in line for 25-30 minutes before being greeted and seated
