They are a nonprofit 501(c) (3) rescue organization that rescues dogs in high kill shelters in California. Laura Green is the best Executive Director and really knows her stuff. I've only interacted with her. On May 13, 2023, I went to PetSmart on Chad drive to a local adoption event that was from 12:00-4:00. I arrived at 10:00 because I really wanted to meet one pup and her name was Cheesecake! When I got there, nobody was there yet from Wiggly Tails and I didn't mind. I waited very patiently and the wait is definitely worth it. A potential adopter was supposed to be there and time kept going by and going by. I told Laura to call or text me if things didn't work out with the other potential adopter I'd come back and meet her or meet her the next day. I'd left at about 3:00 without Cheesecake. I'd gotten about 10 minutes away and had received a text from Laura that read, baby come back!! Oh man, my heart jumped up in my throat. I went back and Laura had told me things didn't work out with the other potential adopter and asked me if I wanted to meet her. She didn't even have to wait for my answer as she probably could hear the excitement in my voice when I called her after her text to me and I'd told her where I was and how long it'd take me to get back there. Cheesecakes foster mom brought her to me and oh my, she absolutely melted my heart and I know now that I melted hers. We both fell in love with each other right then and there. Cheesecake is now Zoë and my toddler fur child. She's Japanese Chin/Pekingese x, to me though she's all my baby girl. I don't know what her life was prior to her rescue, but I know that her foster mom and Laura did an amazing job with her as you'd never know where she came from and you, like myself couldn't imagine why someone would take her to such a place or if she was a stray, you'd never know now. Zoë's 1000% spoiled, just as it should be and she's living her best life thanks to Laura and Wiggly Tails. There is an adoption fee. It takes care of the gas to go down to California to get them and bring them back, spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, a free bag of the dog food they're already on, a free extensive veterinary visit(one supported by Wiggly Tails) their second sets of shots, their collar, and or harness and leash, a whole paper from PetSmart with amazing coupons, including grooming. It's amazing to adopt a dog and or animal and I was lucky enough to cross paths with Wiggly Tails as I've adopted the perfect gem Thank you to Laura Green, staff and Wiggly Tails! I've spoken with them a few…read moretimes, mostly to question which dogs were which, since they never post that information, and after rescuing, fostering, training, and rehabbing animals for 30+ years, all they could do is put down my wolf dogs who were tested and proven to be wolf, and say demeaning things about people who "think they have wolf dogs because someone said it looked like a wolf, but they really don't." Ugh... Just be nicer people. Some of us wanted to help you, but your attitude sucks. So gross. There are plenty of rescues who need help, if you want to foster for a kind rescue, I would go with anyone else before crux.

I have been out to Greenhill several times and found the animals well cared for. I have not…read morenoticed any smells, the animals seem well fed and they have medicine available for the animals that need it. The staff has always been helpful and nice. I ended up adopting a senior cat and she is just what I wanted; talkative, follows me from room to room and is such good company. The staff is always very busy as it looks like they are understaffed some.

We were searching for a Shiba and are delighted to have found Charlotte with Castle Shibas…read more Charlotte is a well respected breeder of gorgeous Shibas. She also shows them and takes immaculate care of these wonderful dogs. At the outset we were looking for a puppy. We have experience with Shibas and were excited to add one to our home. We connected with Charlotte and Frank then traveled from Portland to meet them and put a deposit down on a puppy to be born later this year. While visiting this great family and their amazing dogs, we were lucky enough to find out that one of the 7 year old female Shibas was ready for her Forever Home. Long story short, we are completely blessed to have her in our home now as a companion dog for us. Her temperament is exceptional. She is extremely well trained, and the transition has gone really well. The care, love and attention Charlotte and Frank put into these pup's is second to none. It shows in their spirit, their thick healthy coat, their vet records, and in all interactions with Charlotte and Frank. It was tough for Charlotte to part with our Shiba, and understandably so. She made the transition very smooth, writing out all kinds of information, teaching us First Aid for dogs, providing ample information for any unexpected scenarios, and even bundling up our new pup with a blanket of familiar smells. Charlotte's level of care and professionalism, and her love for Shibas, is unparalleled. I highly recommend her for your new Best Friend -- the furry Shiba kind.

We adopted our Luna in August of 2013 from PetSmart (on Chad Drive) after the death of my previous kitty who was 16 years old. She was the oldest kitty in the room at the time (at 3,) and we instantly fell in love. I haven't had to worry about anything I don't know about her because on top of the rescue itself, I have contact with her foster mom who gives me info whenever I have a question. This included Luna's backstory, which was pretty heart breaking. All the animals are microchipped (which you have to change the info yourself - only downside!), spayed/neutered, and with the adoption we got all her records and coupons to get a bunch of stuff she would need (which saved us a good chunk of money). They even let us have the cat bed she was sleeping in, and her blanket, so she had something familiar to her. You really couldn't ask for a better place to adopt through and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Edit 2/8/2015: I just found out that my experience with Luna's microchip was a fluke - WCDC actually does deal with the chips. :)

She teaches a positive reinforcement method that is fun and enjoyable for everyone. The classes are small and very manageable. I felt like we got excellent attention for our needs. Our dog has gone through several additional classes. Liz trains pets as well as competition dogs with equal enthusiasm. Our dog enjoys the challenge and the classes so much we are always looking for the next class she can take with Liz.
