This place has the most helpful staff I've ever encountered. I went in looking for Pachysandra for ground cover and stopping erosion on a shaded hill, and came away with Kinnikinnick, even though they had Pachysandra, as it was recommended for our needs. Deer resistant, native plant the spreads roots nicely to stop erosion. Even the cashier recognized it, so we asked her opinion for what we needed and she echoed exactly what the guy in the field said. The staff there never ceases to amaze me. They have always made great recommendations for us and they have worked out nicely. Great selection and great staff. Even a nice looking front desk area. Love it. read more

I loved New Leaf until today. I have taken classes there and purchased 99% of our plants there since 2022. We went today to purchase plants and was helped by a wind wonderful knowledgeable nursery worker. She helped us immensely to make the correct choice of a tree and she was patient. We go to pay and the young cashier talks crap about the nursery worker. I am not HR and no customer wants to hear this!!!! She also told my husband to not roll his eyes at her. SERIOUSLY!!! RUDE!! He was frustrated with the young girl and her talking trash about other employees. You lost a loyal customer and I will tell everyone about this!!!! read more

This is a local nursery that carries plants and trees specific to our area and the customer service is great. We bought a tree that was not thriving as it should've been, and they credited our money to another tree, without question. A man named Patrick helped us and is extremely knowledgeable. Inside the main building, they have indoor plants, bulbs, seeds, etc, also fun gifts for the home. I don't understand the negative reviews because this place is perfectly set up for trailers, plenty of parking, all very easy for loading your purchases, and everyone we encountered was helpful, educated, and very friendly. read more

Stopped in to pickup a tree after seeing them from the highway. The young man that helped me was super nice and extremely knowledgeable about the tree I was looking for. He helped me pick a good one and gave advice on the best way to plant it. I was so impressed with how carefully they wrapped and loaded the tree and even tied a flag on it and tested to see if it would hit the ground. The service here is really a cut above any other nursery I've ever been to. Will be back for more trees! read more

We have done business with New Leaf for several years. Last spring we purchased 4 trees. Our main concern was that they were deer resistant as they would be unfenced. $500 later we left with a pine tree and 3 junipers. They got hammered by deer immediately and were destroyed. They told us they would make it right and replace them. They said we would get a call when new trees came in. We visited the business several times and were told nothing was in yet. It seems they are very helpful when they are selling you something but don't want anything to do with you if you have a problem. Use caution with this business there are a lot of other retailers out there that stand behind their products. read more

First time visit was not a good time. They seem under staffed and the parking area is not trailer friendly. We looked around and saw aphids on a lot of plants. The taller trees had been knocked over by wind and still laying on the ground. We did buy two items only to be disappointed. One of the shrubs we purchased had no root ball and was in wood chips. I highly recommend New Leaf Nursery to anyone and everyone looking. First off, it's gorgeous! Well-stocked and laid out perfectly with a large selection. To add to it being gorgeous, we received the absolute best customer service we have EVER received from a nursery (and most businesses for that matter). Unbeknownst to us, we decided to look for plants to landscape our yard on Mother's Day which just happens to be one of the busiest days for nurseries. They were extremely busy and definitely no shortage of business that day. I assumed that we would be left on our own since they were so busy. As we were walking around looking lost, someone came up and asked if we needed help. To our surprise, we were treated like VIP and given our own specialist to help us navigate the large selection. Ben from New Leaf took time to walk us around and help us pick out plants that not only would look well in our yard but grow perfectly for our area (since we are new to the area and have no idea what work and doesn't). During our walk around the nursery Ben not only helped us, he greeted many other customers by their first names and ask them how they were doing and if they needed anything. This type of of customer service shows me that they are more than just a business, they are a staple of the community and treat all of their customers like family. Has very nice plants, but I would not recommend them to do any landscaping work for you. I had them design and landscape my front and backyard. The past designer who worked there did a phenomenal job with the design and following through on her end. Subsequently there were some problems with some plants dying and struggling due to improper planting, as well as the drip system they installed needed to be checked out. After countless calls, and when I finally was able to speak to someone, and them promising to come out or follow up, no luck. Poor customer service. read more
