I tried this place out as I saw several types of beer that I haven't tried before. I tried the Tropical Beer which is Asahi beer plus Calpico, it was surprisingly very tasty!!! I'm definitely bringing this concoction to my next poker party for the fellas to try!

Refreshing Beer cocktails around $9 a d super cheap Japanese draft beer for as cheap as $3. Sweet deal. Eat with your gyutan/beef tongue. Perfect combo

Frozen Beer

So I got the Frozen Beer which didn't end up tasting like what I had hoped, but I guess it makes sense once you actually drink it. The drink is basically regular beer on the bottom with a frozen slushee bit on top. The slushee part though taste just like the foam on top of the beer except it is somewhat frozen. It kind of takes a lot away from the beer though cause it basically means you're drinking a chunk of foam with the beer, not something all that great. At about $5 it wasn't too bad price wise, but it really wasn't worth it, outside of trying the beer with frozen froth on top. The place is located within the Mitsuwa Marketplace and also serves a variety of beer and other beer concoctions like a "Tropical Beer Cocktail".

Yukari beer

After shopping at Misuwa, randomly find out this place. Please come here and try the Yukari Beer!!! It is so refreshing. I personally really like the taste of red Shiso!!!! The beer itself tastes a little bit of sour and sweet!!!

Woohoo a new business @ Costa Mesa Mitsuwa!! Located at the food court, New Japan Beer serves beer and sake at the food court. I asked for beer recommendation and the clueless worker kept offering me sake. I asked her again for beer, and she kept mentioning sake. I finally pointed at the beer menu and got my $5.75 Asahi beer. 3 stars!! New Japan Beer is almost yummylicious!!

frozen beer $3.99 HH (Kirin)

what?? what is frozen beer?? I saw this interesting machine which makes a cool looking (gimmicky) cup of beer at the beer n sake food stall. the employee said they were trying this new machine out for a month first. I really wanted to c what it looked like so I got one. it was a cold beer with a beer flavored ice cap; like a beer shaved ice! it's located on Paularino Avenue in the Costa Mesa area in Orange County. it's in the Mitsuwa Marketplace's mini food court area. the price is $4.99 during regular hours. $3.99 during Happy Hour.

Instagram worthy but so nasty

Amazing liquor store , INSANE selection of beer wine and spirits! Freddy is the man! Great customer…read moreservice! Store is always clean and organized

Don't let the women with longish dark hair ring you up!!!…read more I've had multiple bad experiences at this liquor store, which is frustrating since it's so close to home. The first time, I went in just to grab some snacks and my total should've been around $15. Instead, I was charged for an extra bottle of liquor I never purchased, adding about $25 to my bill. I noticed after I left and had to go back to get it fixed. Another employee refunded me and apologized, while the woman with longish dark hair who rang me up avoided the situation and went to the back. On a separate visit, my boyfriend bought a few items. His total was around $15 and some change, and he paid with four $5 bills ($20 total). He should've received about $4 and some change back, but instead was only given coins. When he questioned it, the same cashier insisted he hadn't paid that amount and even said she would check the cameras. She later came back saying no one was available to help, but then gave him the correct change anyway. At this point, it feels like more than just a simple mistake. I'd strongly recommend double-checking your receipt and your change if you shop here.

This place is my kind of wonderland. You can find everything from beer, wine, cocktails, bar tools,…read moregifts, and so much more. They also have tastings and pairings so check out their schedule. I love going in and asking the staff for their recommendations. They are super nice and informative. I have walked out with many bottles of whiskey that did not disappoint.

Well, let's fix that right now because this place should be a must-see destination when you are in Orange county. I'm not kidding, this place is an adult Disneyland! The moment you walk in the door it is a visual sensory overload. To the left isn't a complete cigar shop with some of the most elusive and amazing brands. It is definitely a must-see when you go in. The humidor is stocked to the gills, and they have every accessory you could possibly want. As you keep walking, to your left, they have an amazing gourmet chocolate section that is second to none. One of my favorite places to go and just wander around like a kid in a candy store... Literally. You have to go downstairs where the wine selection is. I'm not kidding you, it is like a half a city block long broken down into country, region, varietal, and tight. There are so many bottles to choose from. You can get anything from a $10 bottle up to a $17,000 bottle of wine If you are a bourbon, Scotch, or whiskey fan, you have to check out the selection that they have. They have amazing deals, they work with the distillers to have a great selection of high-end alcohol. Speaking of high-end, behind the glass obviously is the really high-end stuff like pappy, Van Winkle, whistle, pig and many others to choose from. Are they pricey? Yes they are. Are they hard to find, yes they are. Can I afford them? Absolutely not. But they are fun to look at like paintings in a museum. Here's the secret ticket for those of you going in at the back of the bourbon section, right next to the walk-in beer cooler, they have a discount rack where you can pick up bottles for seriously 90% hot. Hot it is definitely worth a look because sometimes you will find amazing deals on stuff that you never thought you could afford. Speaking of beer, you can buy kegs six packs, individual cans of just about any beer you can think of... And even some you did not know existed. It is definitely worth your while to go there and hang out for an hour. I can't end this review before bragging on the staff. Super nice, super helpful, willing to make suggestions, and just making your visit. Fun is the cornerstone of the experience. Super great people kind of like cheers, where they remember your name. Bottom line? You would be doing a disservice if you did not go check this place out. Highly recommended and Dan Leadbetter approved!
