This is not a pub anymore - it's been turned into a large buffet style chinese restaurant. So it's probably reviewed on here elsewhere.

There's also pizzas, burgers an excellent salad bar and an assortment of desserts. You can have naan made to order as well as your choice of stir fry. The staff are friendly and the service is speedy. For all the bargain hunters out there, before 3pm, it's £6 a head, which is great considering the great food.

The selection is vast, better than that you can choose your food yourself and have as much or as little as you wish, or whatever you wish. Points to note, single portion sized naan bread is cooked fresh to order and there are a choice of flavours. It is a good idea to walk around and have a good look at everything before taking your first plate. You are able to have some things like stirfry cooked with exactly your selection of available items, while you wait. The service of the table staff is overseen by the manager and is faultless throughout the dining experience. The staff are really nice and obviously work hard, they are happy to share a smile as they go about clearing the many used plates. The only bad point I have found from the few times I have visited are that it can get busy, there is often a line of people waiting to come in when I am leaving. Get there early guys. The foods are constantly replenished and everything has good flavour and taste, from salad to steak, chicken nuggets to chinese, it is all there to try, so do take time to encounter something you haven't tryed before. You can start wherever you like, but be sure not to forget the dessert corner which has self-service ice cream on tap.

It is accessible with a push chair, though with some of the seating arrangements it could be hard to put one to the side while the child eats at the table. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. The food is delicious, the flavours are fresh, not sickly or oily which I find a lot of Chinese take away can be. The buffet has a nice medium size selection, a little bit of everything. The only down size is that most of the deserts arent made on the premises, they seem to be out of a box.

Nothing but predictable dishes that brit's think are chinese but would never be served in China. The minuscule selection of food that was available was ok - nothing special and nowhere near as tasty as my local takeaway in Oakengates. To the 3 people who loved this so much get yourselves over to Birmingham to Big Wok or Jimmy Spices or better still have a day out in China Town in Liverpool (Oldest China Town in Europe) and prepare for your taste buds to go crazy from pleasure! Of and final note - not only is this the least impressive Chines buffet I have ever experienced but also the most expensive but what can you expect from that money grabbing grump who also owns Pussycats and Club Crush where the average drink costs the same price that you can get a full Chinese buffet dinner from at Big Wok in Brum!
