My nurse was very attentive and was offering socks and new warm blankets constantly which I really appreciate because I was a little nervous. Also-I don't like my boobs-a little more insight and information would have led me to choose NOT to waste my time/money/heath on this procedure. It was not and will never be worth it, I have to pay more to get them fixed elsewhere. On the other hand- he will make sure to let you know he was highlighted in a very important magazine! Least he is a doctor and his wife also works making money and by selling bras for women. I would not recommend. I need more help for the "help" I got. His tone felt condescending, and I left feeling judged for choosing explant. I rarely write reviews, but I wish I had known his views ahead of time -- I would not have paid for this consult. I ended up going to Dr. Aditya Sood in Rockford, IL, who performed a full en bloc/total capsulectomy, muscle repair, and gave me a natural, lifted result. His bedside manner was inexcusable and the outcome of my surgery was horrific. I chose to incur the cost of having another surgeon remove the implants rather than allowing him to perform the procedure. Later I learned Dr. Hart failed to recognize I suffer from a congenital defect called pectus excavatum, as well as tubular constriction of my breasts which had affected the height of one of my breast folds. The latter was extremely obvious and should not have been missed. Now that I'm older and more educated on the subject, I'm able to see just how negligent Dr. Hart was. After…read morea consultation in Oct 2022 for a philtrum lip lift I scheduled the surgery and he did it in May 2023. From the beginning I made it very clear to him that I wanted my philtrum not only shortened but my vermilion border fuller. Immediately after the surgery I could tell he did not do what I had asked. He took out very little skin in the philtrum and under my nostrils. In my checkup appointment 7 days after the surgery I expressed to him I was not happy with the results of the surgery as it was not what we had talked about. I made an appointment that day for a revision. I went back Sept 29th and he did the surgery a second time. As he was stitching me up he said "ok, your vermillion border is at the middle of your canine teeth, I'm not going to pull it up anymore." When he handed me the mirror afterwards I noticed immediately that it was NOT at the middle of my canine teeth. It was still at the bottom. He lied. Not wanting to argue with him I left displeased. A week later I went back for my post op checkup and told him it was not at the middle of my canine teeth like he had told me. All he could say was "well I thought it was." Yes, that was his lame response. So once again after TWO SURGERIES he did not take enough skin out from under my nostrils like I specifically asked multiple times. What is even more upsetting is, now after these two surgeries my vermilion border is actually thinner than it was to start with because he has pulled up my cupids bow and not taken enough skin out from under my nostrils. It's been a month since my surgery and now I'm suffering from stitch abscesses because it took the moron over 20 minutes just to stitch me up. It didn't take him nearly that long the first time. It actually hurt because he put too many stitches in and pulled them way too tight. Now they aren't dissolving (see pic below). I had to go to another doctor to get Clindamycin antibiotic to heal the abscesses. This whole fiasco has been a complete nightmare and a waste of my time and money. Dr. Branham should not be allowed to touch anyones face! He will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money, and then he will do as he wishes, not as you want. He needs to go back to medical school and learn how to stitch a wound. If you're considering him I would look elsewhere for a plastic surgeon.
