After…read morea consultation in Oct 2022 for a philtrum lip lift I scheduled the surgery and he did it in May 2023. From the beginning I made it very clear to him that I wanted my philtrum not only shortened but my vermilion border fuller. Immediately after the surgery I could tell he did not do what I had asked. He took out very little skin in the philtrum and under my nostrils. In my checkup appointment 7 days after the surgery I expressed to him I was not happy with the results of the surgery as it was not what we had talked about. I made an appointment that day for a revision. I went back Sept 29th and he did the surgery a second time. As he was stitching me up he said "ok, your vermillion border is at the middle of your canine teeth, I'm not going to pull it up anymore." When he handed me the mirror afterwards I noticed immediately that it was NOT at the middle of my canine teeth. It was still at the bottom. He lied. Not wanting to argue with him I left displeased. A week later I went back for my post op checkup and told him it was not at the middle of my canine teeth like he had told me. All he could say was "well I thought it was." Yes, that was his lame response. So once again after TWO SURGERIES he did not take enough skin out from under my nostrils like I specifically asked multiple times. What is even more upsetting is, now after these two surgeries my vermilion border is actually thinner than it was to start with because he has pulled up my cupids bow and not taken enough skin out from under my nostrils. It's been a month since my surgery and now I'm suffering from stitch abscesses because it took the moron over 20 minutes just to stitch me up. It didn't take him nearly that long the first time. It actually hurt because he put too many stitches in and pulled them way too tight. Now they aren't dissolving (see pic below). I had to go to another doctor to get Clindamycin antibiotic to heal the abscesses. This whole fiasco has been a complete nightmare and a waste of my time and money. Dr. Branham should not be allowed to touch anyones face! He will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money, and then he will do as he wishes, not as you want. He needs to go back to medical school and learn how to stitch a wound. If you're considering him I would look elsewhere for a plastic surgeon.

I chose to incur the cost of having another surgeon remove the implants rather than allowing him to perform the procedure. Later I learned Dr. Hart failed to recognize I suffer from a congenital defect called pectus excavatum, as well as tubular constriction of my breasts which had affected the height of one of my breast folds. The latter was extremely obvious and should not have been missed. Now that I'm older and more educated on the subject, I'm able to see just how negligent Dr. Hart was. I'm writing this review all these years later in the hopes of saving other woman from suffering the same misfortune.

I am more than pleased with the entire process from consultation, to procedure, to follow-ups. Dr. Hart and his staff are awesome. Very straight forward and to the point. The office located inside of Mercy Hospital is nice; equipped with plenty of brochures and infomercials to get your mind wrapped around other nip tuck possibilities. Dr. Hart left no question unanswered. He made me feel more than comfortable when making my decision on what, how and when I wanted my procedure completed. I endorse Dr. Hart and when/if I decide to have another procedure, he'll be the chosen one. Thank me later.

I am also was extremely happy with Des Peres surgical facility. My nurse was very attentive and was offering socks and new warm blankets constantly which I really appreciate because I was a little nervous. Anesthesiologist was very knowledgeable and super nice explaining whole process to me. I wish I could done it earlier. I went to Dr.Lund over 4 years ago. I remember walking out of the office and thought he was talking to his team yet he was talking to me. He isn't the best with eye contact when it doesn't have to do with boobs/and or surgery. Yes he's busy - yet the guy cutting me up I think could be more polite and empathetic. Also-I don't like my boobs-a little more insight and information would have led me to choose NOT to waste my time/money/heath on this procedure. It was not and will never be worth it, I have to pay more to get them fixed elsewhere. On the other hand- he will make sure to let you know he was highlighted in a very important magazine! Least he is a doctor and his wife also works making money and by selling bras for women. I would not recommend. I need more help for the "help" I got. A key part of Dr. Sarhaddi's team is Emily Stenger, her wonderful medical assistant. Both before and after the surgery, Emily has been terrific in responding very promptly to dozens of questions about what to expect both beforehand and questions I've had since the surgery while recovering. The care and professionalism exhibited by Dr Portnoff and his staff was incredible. As for the surgery itself (Mohs), this too was completed in an exceptional manner. Most importantly, I am confident that "clear margins" were indeed obtained. Secondly, it's only been 12 days since the surgery, and the incision area is already almost non-existent. IF a scar exists, it appears it will be unnoticeable. Well done, Dr Portnoff!
