A friend of mine introduced me to Nikki at New Image. I have been going to her for about 3 years now. My roomie even goes to her too and we live about 25 minutes away in Bay City. I had hair halfway down my back and she recently cut it for me! She sent me multiple pics to look at and she was just as excited to cut it. She asks a lot of questions and makes you comfortable. I have been going here for about 2 years now and I wouldn't imagine going anywhere else. I have been getting heavy bleached highlights in my hair every time I go, and it is pretty cheap compared to any other local salon. All of the stylists are awesome and super friendly and willing to help with anything you need. I am so excited to have these ladies help me on my wedding day with hair and makeup. They are usually really good with getting you in for anything you may need the same week you call. I went to Kelsie. I went twice and had a third appointment scheduled. She had to reschedule them all. She cancels an hour before and is very unprofessional. When you do finally get an appointment with her you are double booked and she is texting more than she does hair. Then the cost of a color was $120.. for someone who did a half assed job. Unprofessional phone skills, that's for sure. Never have been in there and I don't think I ever will after my phone conversation. I'm getting married soon, and I've currently been looking for someone to do mine and possibly my bridesmaids makeup. I called this salon and explained what was going on, when I asked if they do makeup all the lady could say was "yeeeahh?" as if I'm supposed to know that, and then silence, nothing else. I then I asked if the person(s) who does the makeup are willing to travel to the place of my ceremony which is only about 10 to 15 mins away and she asked how many people, I explained it would be me and possibly 6 of my bridesmaids, again, a one word response of "what?!!!" Is what I got back, I then repeated myself and she's silent for a moment and gets this nasty attitude saying "you need to understand it takes 45 mins to an hour to do the makeup!!" not wanting to listen to her ignorance and nastiness anymore, I chose to hang up.
