The second she saw me, she sat me down, listened attentively and compassionately to my hair journey, and used our first thirty minutes just comforting me before even pulling out the scissors. She spent the entire session learning about my curl routine and educating throughout to help me get to my curl goals. I told her I was really hoping to grow my hair back out, and she was so attentive and never cut a strand or curl without asking for permission/giving reasoning why the cut would be beneficial first. I have truly never felt more cared for in a haircut session and it was truly a corrective experience! By the end of the cut, I was so happy that she was able to maintain my length while also giving me the volume I was looking for! Sarah went above and beyond for me. Not only did she spend 30 minutes listening attentively BEFORE the haircut even began, she followed up on multiple occasions, sending personalized Christmas cards and not only remembered me 6 months later, but remembered details of my story. She truly has a talent of giving you her full attention and making you feel special and more yourself by the end of every haircut. I have grown up with curly hair my whole life but it wasn't until I started seeing Sarah that I truly learned how to manage and maintain my curls in a healthy way! She has helped me so much in not just my curly hair journey, but also my hair growth journey as well. I cannot say enough about how amazing Sarah is! I wish I could give her 10 stars! But this time it was not a great experience due to customer service. Additionally, my GEL manicure started chipping in TWO days, whereas I have gone other places where it has lasted me 4 weeks. So I believe they are either not training their staff well, or they don't use quality products. Which for how expensive it is there, they should be doing both of those things. I would not recommend going here, unless you are in a pinch. Still leaving two stars because the girls who have given my services have been very nice and I think that is worth mentioning.
