I needed to have a crown replaced over an implant. They said they could do that so I went in. Then I was told they didn't have the driver to work on the tooth and the office refused to purchase it. Dr Ochoa and Kelly were very kind, compassionate, very thorough, professional, and very patient with me. Kelly explained the process, step by step with me, made me feel comfortable and safe. Contemplated for many months in writing a poor review... However, I do not want anyone else experiencing the inept, unprofessional revolving door dental practice. Find a privately run dentist not a corporate chain that does NOT recognize the other locations as affiliated if there is a problem either. The beachside location is a place for new grads fresh out of school to gain experience then leave. No loyalty or intention of long-term provider care. You are a test subject, a number. A new filling they charged greatly for fell out months later and a cap on a root canal showed they never removed cavity first. The Lake Washington location (Dr. Mujeeb) expressed that the work done beachside was a mess but had no ties to that location but same name? Dr would have staff request I come early so he could leave early.. so, I change schedule then keep me there waiting for over an hour in dental chair for him! So rude and inconsiderate. Jaime his dental tech was super nice however. Seriously blown away that this company is still operating. Billing was a mess too! And they push flouride treatments and deeper cleanings and other items to pump up bill as well beachside. Bean counting corporate business practicing. Look for a private dentist you can have loyal professional relations with as your teeth and heaIth will benefit greatly. My insurance was accepted by this company and I have chosen to pay cash over having services covered here. read more

THIS PLACE IS ONLY INTERESTED IN PROFIT and not concerned at all about their patient's time. At no time did I receive a call, email or text before my appointment informing me that New Image was having difficulty verifying my BCBS insurance. I showed up at 2PM for my appointment as a new patient for my evaluation and cleaning. Upon checking in with the front desk the nice young lady informed me that they were having an issue verifying my insurance. I then spent the next hour on hold with BCBS as NEW IMAGE was unable to communicate with BCBS as they were being asked for a DR number which they didn't have. My wife finally sent me an electronic printout of our fee schedule and coverages which I showed to them and they finally did my evaluation but said that they were not going to perform my scheduled cleaning since they were out of time. I expressed my disappointment as I was there for about 2 hours for 10-minute X-rays and informed them that it was difficult for me to get to appointments due to work and they did not seem to care. I then told them that they were losing me as a patient and again they didn't care. My wife then asked to cancel her appointment for the following day and then they seemed to care a little but since it was apparent that it was profit over people's time, we decided to that we are going to look elsewhere. First of all I got at least 5 reminders of appt through text, email and phone calls. When I made the appt I was told I would be getting an exam and cleaning. When I get in exam room I am informed the cleaning is on your second appt. Then the dentist comes in and tells me I need 2 crowns, 1 bridge and a post implanted in a tooth. What? My last dentist didn't recommend any of these procedures. Got out of there as fast as I could. read more

They did a great job removing my sons wisdom teeth, no problems. Before we left they talked us in to invisalign. It was one price if I signed the contract right then (without my glasses) and another if we waited. Then, since I couldn't read the "fine print" at all, I specifically asked if the price of $5,000.00 included EVERYTHING, I was assured it did. I was putting it on my care credit and didn't want any surprise bills at the end. Well, my sons teeth don't look much different than they did before 6 months of invisalign and I got my surprise bill of $420, just like they PROMISED I wouldn't get. What was I thinking for signing a contract for 5k without glasses. Stupid me!!! Not sure if it's New Image, this branch, the Dentist or Management... But I would NEVER GO BACK!!! read more

Very poor communication within their office. They are worse than a retired used car salesman trying to sell me everything but the Brooklyn Bridge. Now they are saying that I have a balance due after they nearly maxed out my insurance by February. I had to have a new crown for one of my back teeth. When I arrived, the receptionist, as usual was extremely unfriendly. As this was the 3rd visit, both my wife and I went for cleaning and subsequent filling repair. At that time my wife said the service was so rude she would be finding a new dentist. The dental assistant who took me in & worked on my mouth was Gena. She is friendly & competent, concerned with her patients' comfort, as well as the expense of any procedures. She was the only person who informed me of the price of the procedure. The doctor, Patricia Blake, is adequate at best. She seems more interested in the programs on television than her subject in the chair. On leaving I was informed that I had to pay the full bill up front, not 1/2 now, and 1/2 upon completion. In my former city of residence this was standard practice, as the cost is high even with insurance, and most practices understand the need to pay for services when complete. I was given an appointment 2 weeks later. That seemed a long time, as I Was used to a 1 week turn around for the final fitting. When I arrived 2 weeks later for my fitting, the receptionist informed me that the crown had not yet arrived. I asked why she did not call earlier to reschedule the appointment, she stated she thought it might come in. She suggested I return at 2:00 p.m. as they had an opening then. When I returned in the afternoon the 2 people at the desk looked at me and let me sit there for 10 minutes before informing me that the package still had not arrived. Needless to say, I told them to call me if it ever arrived. Two days later, on a Friday, the unfriendly receptionist called to schedule an appointment for that day, but as I already had plans, the appointment was scheduled for the next Tuesday; 3 weeks after the initial appointment. I arrived on time, and had to wait 10 minutes before the dental assistant took me in. Fortunately this was again Gena; who was the only one to apologize for the inconvenience (incompetence) of the office. The doctor appeared and said Gena would remove & fit the crown, and she would be in later to do the final fitting. She then went off to laugh and have fun with a young patient and his father. Apparently they use a lab which provides them with standard model crowns as Gena, with occasional help from dr. Blake, worked on correcting the crown for over an hour. With nine other crowns in my mouth, I know this was excessive and would have been unnecessary had the doctor made a decent mold of the space before she send it off. The most I had ever spent to have the final crown mounted was 15 minutes, and never had any residual effects. The crown still does not feel right, and I have some sensitivity when cold water or air hit the tooth. I am now searching for a new dentist; one who has a professional staff, profession attitude, and one who knows dentistry. read more

Dr. Modi took good care of me, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. A couple years ago the same office (different Dr.) to me I needed two crown$ and herded me into a finance office on my way out. Didn't need them, and was wary about going back. No such shenanigans this time. Cleaning/exam one morning, teeth fixed the next morning. I like that. No sales pressure - I hope it stays that way here, and I'll go back until it doesn't. read more

Dr Blake has been my dentist for over 20 years and I have never been disapointed. She has always taken care of any of my problems with gentle and very professional care. I love how knowledgable and up to date she is with procedures and new information. I work in the field and even working with out her dentists I still return to her for all my dental needs from a filling, to removing my wisdom teeth and my invisalign treatment. I know I'm not the only one who has followed her when she has moved to another office. read more
