I have used them for 4 classes - Access and SQL. Mentored learning and online live. Excellent local and remote staff. I was unsure about non-classroom classes but they folks have it figured out well. I will be back. read more

Even if you are only able to attend part of the program and need to drop out partway through, you have to pay the entire cost up front. If you started attending a four year college and had to drop out after two years, would feel you had to pay the entire four years? And, pay the entire four years UP FRONT? Please beware of this scam. Don't kid yourself that their purpose is to educate you, their purpose is to make money for themselves. read more

This is a good school Unfortunately at this time I am getting the run around. I have to take my classes over and over to extend the 6 month time frame, plus I am horrible when it comes to the certifications exams, (I don't do well on test). I work, I have had some health issues, family issues etc, You know life gets in the way. When you try to find out the limit on retaking classes and how to get your voucher because the people you normally contact are no longer their due to quitting or transferring what do you do. I have one set of people telling me one thing and another telling me another. I am also told to send email this group or that group. that is not helping me it is causing me more frustration and why should I continue kind of attitude. I am ready to quit. I don't have the money to find another school but this is really stressful because no one gives me an answer. read more

I showed up for the training this morning and even though I was on the sign-in sheet and had student credentials at a PC I was told that the course was full and they sent me packing. I can't begin to convey my frustration with this company and it isn't the first time. Last year I showed up to take an MCSE exam and even though the voice-mail message and website said the testing center was open, there wasn't anyone there besides the receptionist. We had received 1 1/2 inches of snow the night before which wasn't bad but it still would have been acceptable if the testing center was advertised as closed for the day. I called Microsoft and they were in the same boat, they believed the testing center to be open but couldn't contact anyone. I ended up driving to Centriq Training that same day and took that exam, but was charged twice since in Microsoft's system I was the one who didn't show up. I finally did get the exam fee refunded but vowed never to take another test at New Horizons. read more

My lady was very friendly and asked for assistance from one of the supervisors when she didn't know what to do about a cowlick I had. The supervisor took over and gave her some feedback on the rest of the cut I'd received so far. The whole process took about 40 minutes including a shampoo, which is kind of a long time for what I got - 2 on the sides with scissor on top. Last month I got the same cut by a professional stylist at Great Clips in maybe 10 minutes. Overall, it was a positive experience, the cut came out ok, definitely not a professional result, but for $7 for a shampoo and cut it's worth a shot.
