Jennifer Waller is such a patient instructor. The beginning wheel-throwing pottery course teaches the basic skills of centering, opening, pulling walls, trimming and preparing your piece for the bisque (first) firing. She also covers the basics of glazing your piece for finishing. You can keep practicing and building in continuing classes. Clay, glaze and firing fees are included with the lessons. It was so much fun to learn how to mold the clay into a cup, a saucer and a small bowl. Amazing to be able to transform the clay into a tangible project. My daughter made a waffle tic-tac-toe board complete with blueberries and butter. So cute! Since I was just in New Orleans for a few days, I picked out my glaze colors and my daughter completed my projects. The studio is so cute and welcoming. I would highly recommend Jennifer's classes and would definitely go back on a future visit.

10/10 For responsiveness and quick processing! :)…read more I basically needed my BLS certification renewed ASAP. They were able to work with me to accommodate my needs and I was able to schedule a skills check off with them the next day. They were very responsive and answered all my calls. Upon calling to inquire about taking a class and needing to be re-certified ASAP, they recommended that I take an AHA BLS online class ($28.50) and then just do the skills check off with them ($75). The process was easy and painless. I completed the online course, scheduled a morning skills check off, and my e-card was sent to me within a few hours, although I was quoted 1-3 business days - this was a nice surprise. Their mannequins were also of good quality in which it analyzed the quality of my compressions and prompted me to compress deeper when needed. The facility was clean and I was required to wear my mask and gloves (provided) to sign in on their iPad. The skills check off process was about 20 minutes total. Overall, my experience was pretty positive & I would recommend them to any provider for your certification needs!
