My husband and I were very hesitant as we knew it was going to be expensive. We decided to get a couple quotes and Chris was the first one to get back to us. We sent him a picture and not only did he give us a very fair quote over the phone but told us he could come the next day! Other tree companies that we reached out to couldn't come to our house until a week later and that was only for a quote. Chris showed up as promised (even though it started to lightly snow) and removed our stump in around 20 minutes. He is professional and his stump grinder is AMAZING (it moves by remote control!). We have used his service many times over the years, and most recently we needed his help when a large tree limb came down on our garage during a thunderstorm around dinner time. Al offered to come out that night, but we felt we could wait until morning. Al and his helper Dave came to our house promptly at 8 a.m. the next morning as agreed. When I got home, I found the following: * both of my gates were wide open when I specifically told the gentleman who came to my house the evening prior that I have dogs, and the fence and gates needed to be secured when they were finished * the fire pit was left in shambles * lawn carpet and chairs sloppily left by the fence and not returned to where they were by the fire pit * my back yard was completely torn up * pavement crushed at the fence line * front lawn near the street has deep gouges from the big white piece of equipment left on my yard; landscaping bricks disrupted and not reset * new/unused large recycling bin has some sort of a fuel box and Byrne dairy food containers, and garbage discarded in it; as they operate in the city, they know it is NOT for garbage and there could be fines involved. I never would have agreed to this if I thought there was going to be such carelessness and disrespect to my property. I'm sure my neighbor will give them a great review because the trees are down. I'm not the paying customer so it seems they don't care. I sent two emails, a text and a Facebook message with no reply or acknowledgement.

I chose to lose $400 bkz I did not want to lose MORE by going forward with the job.
