After our initial consult visit, I booked Holli for evening meds one evening so I could attend a concert. Holli made sure to communicate via the app that she was there and even sent pictures during her visit. I don't trust many people with care of my cats in general, and especially now with a special needs guy, but I felt super comfortable leaving the care of my guys to her. We always enjoy seeing the photos while away. We can see how happy they are. It is also nice how they check on our house too and bring in packages. I would like to give them a special shout out for the care that they gave our pets while we were away during a recent large snowstorm. We were concerned that they wouldn't be able to make it to our house because of the severity of the storm. they kept in touch and made sure that there was enough food and water for our fur babies in case they wee unable to make it back at the scheduled time. We didn't want them to endanger themselves and knew that they would be fine if they couldn't make it back. All went well and they reported back to us the next morning when the roads were cleared and they could make it back. They dug out a spot on the deck for our dog to get out and go the the bathroom and all was well. This is a great company and they truly love the pets that they are taiga care of.

It's hard to find that special person who you feel safe entrusting with both the four-legged members of your family as well as with your home. I knew within minutes of meeting Amy that we had finally found that perfect someone. Amy arrived at our "Meet and Greet" with a pet first aid kit that would put a hospital ER to shame and an easy going and friendly personality that immediately put my dogs at ease. I sat and politely listened to Amy tell me all about the business and her experience but I knew, instinctively, that we had finally found our new walker. Amy started within days of our initial meeting and by the second day she even had my nervous nellie dachshund snuggling up next to her. Amy visits my house twice a day Monday through Friday. She has always shown up as scheduled and if winter weather has caused a delay or cancellation she has provided notice well in advance. She provides incredibly detailed visit reports which include multiple pictures of the day's activities and sometimes even videos. I cannot recommend Amy and You Lucky Dog highly enough. She provides me with peace of mind, knowing that my furry little bundles of joy are being lovingly cared for while I'm away from home.

My husband and I recently moved to New Haven and needed a pet sitter for our little menagerie (five cats and a dog!) when we travel. To complicate matters even more, one of our cats is 19 y/o and on four different medications. Four Legged Care has been completely awesome! They have affordable pricing and are extremely communicative. Colleen has been our sitter and is very sweet and thorough. She follows the instructions we leave for our pets and sends us tons of adorable videos and photos. She goes above and beyond every time. Most recently, our flight was canceled coming home from a trip and within minutes of notifying Colleen, she figured out a way to accommodate our last minute, extra day request. We had stopped to rest on. a bench near the waterfall and were wondering if we would be able to find our way back, since we had been on several trails. Josh came along so we asked him for directions. He started to show us an app we could use to find the general direction. When we sheepishly admitted that neither one of us had remembered our phones he immediately said I'll lead you out. We didn't want to take him out of his way, so we said just point us in the right direction. We are two older ladies, and he insisted on leading us out saying that he didn't want to be worrying about whether we made it out safely or not. Even when we saw landmarks that we remembered were close to where I parked, he woudn't leave us until I actually spotted my car. If josh showed so much care, compassion, caring and sense of responsibility to two strangers he had just met int he woods,I can't imagine that he wouldn't bring the same qualities to his business.
