We…read morerecently asked him to re-sand and stain our kitchen floor and buff and coat our dining room floor. Kitchen floor ended up looking ok. Dining room floor was a disaster. Crew SEALED IN scuff marks and kids paint stains into our floor. We couldn't believe it. When I attempted to understand how it could happen, Pete's partner was very defensive claiming he tried to get scuff marks out and couldn't. When I asked why he didn't call me about the scuff marks before he sealed the floor, he had no answer. In fact, he was very aggressive when speaking with me. So much so, my 4 and 6 year old who were watching our conversation became scared and asked aloud why the man was yelling at me. When I asked him to stop yelling at me and solve it and he said he'd have to re-sand the entire floor. When he persisted to tell him he tried to sand scuff marks, I showed him how I could wipe away the SAME SCUFF marks found just 15 feet away in another area with JUST WATER. HE STILL DIDN'T ADMIT TO BLATANT ERROR. Extremely poor customer service. They simply didn't care about what they did or fixing it. They simply didn't care about how they spoke to me. DO NOT USE THEM.

We were taken advantage of including paying for work that was never done and were told it was, hurried work that required rework multiple times, schedule slippage by multiple weeks causing us to incur additional costs and rescheduling subsequent contractors. John discussed making things right, however we were well past the point of allowing for this to continue and paid for a different contractor to finish the remaining rework. It was not functional; a large glass wall, making for an all-season room, cut off the space. Two oddly shaped islands were very dated, there was no functional microwave, and to make matters worse, the room had several "angles" to it, and a parquet floor just made the room busy. We met several contractors, but Dan quickly saw the problems with the room, and after I called past customers, I was sold. First, we wanted the work done in a short time frame during the holidays. He kept to his word and got the work done. He communicated with me on every choice; why we should make each change and what the options were. If I found something for less, but what we were thinking of doing, I bought it and he took it off his list. I could go on and on; I loved all his subcontractors. They were not just good at what they do, they were kind, respectful and friendly. Dan went out of his way to keep our cabinets intact so they could be donated to charity. Months later, when we had issues crop up, he came right over and addressed them. Good example? It is very cold here, so we knew there would be settling once we went through the winter. Dan came over, had his sheet rock and painters return, and it was done. No fuss. No charge. Before and after pictures speak for themselves. If you re lucky enough to have Dan work with you on your home, go for it.

He provided a consultation for my indoor floors, but then I had him also look at my garage floor and he said he was able to do the work I was looking for, which is what I will be reviewing here today. I had a few cracks in my garage floor and was looking to Epoxy it to protect it for the winter. Dave explained to me his process and how it differs from the competition which helps keep his cost low. The best part about Dave was that he stuck to the quote he gave me, with no surprises or additional ask for money, and he started when he said he would, got the job done quick, and finished when he said he would - anyone who has worked with contractors before knows this is a rarity!
