I stopped by for lunch today and was a cool fish market to have lunch at. The service was great. I…read moreordered the catch of the day, which was a Pollock fish sandwich, and when I opened the box, I had high hopes. The bread was good, and the tartar sauce was excellent. Unfortunately, the star of the sandwich--the fish--was where it fell short. The Pollock had absolutely no flavor and appeared to have no seasoning at all. It was very disappointing. The atmosphere and presentation were promising, but the sandwich itself missed the mark. With better seasoning and more flavor in the fish, this could have been a much better experience.

So I got 2 that came to be about $23 a lobster. Upon walking in the store it seems very clean and there is a LARGE amount of seafood offered. Along with many Asian pantry items and spices. I was able to get full sheet sea weed paper which I sometimes have a problem finding in my local grocery store in manhattan. The lobsters turned out AMAZING! Honestly one of my favorites, was my first time cooking as well. I've definitely had my shared cooked for me so I think I like to know what I'm talking about. Lol Definitely will be back in the future! Highly recommend if you live in the area.

I was just looking for a snack, so I walked in and looked at their refrigerators expecting to see the handrolls there but was told that they make them fresh to order which took just a couple of minutes. The rice was warm, the tuna was very fresh, the flavors were simple yet exceptional, and the price was very fair. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering only one. They also gave me the wrong sauce, I asked for cilantro lime and was given tarter sauce. I was pretty bummed about this. The spicy crab coleslaw salad was very saucy and tangy. Maybe had some mustard in it? Needed salt and a different sauce, there was a tang and sour hint in this that I didnt like.

First off, the place is spotless--super clean and well-kept, which gave a great first impression. The food? Fresh and absolutely delicious. I ordered the fried flounder fillet and it was cooked to perfection--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of batter. I paired it with a side of tostones (though for $3, I was expecting more than four--at least a whole plantain's worth would've made more sense). I also tried the shrimp ceviche, which was refreshing and flavorful, and a simple green salad on the side. Service was A+, fast and friendly. The staff made me feel welcome right away. Pricing overall was very reasonable, with the exception of those tostones--but hey, I'm still going back for round two soon.

This fish market is a great addition to the area and I was amazed by the variety of wild caught fresh fish they have. Their selection varies but for the most part I've been pleased. I've had the Dorado, Branzino, Faroe Island Salmon, the cod, and the monkfish. They have even had sardines which are my favorite. Fresh whole sardines are hard to come by. All of the fish that I had tasted good and was very fresh. The staff members are very friendly and are eager to help. They clean your fish and cut it however you like. Definitely a great experience if you're a fish lover like myself. I plan on going back to try their scallops and clams.
