I stopped by to see if there was anything they could do to "liven" up the factory system in my wife's Cadillac Escalade Platinum without breaking the bank. I explained what we were looking for and they more than met our expectations. They provided us with a good, better, best option and after listening to them, we felt confident to turn the keys over and let them do what they do. All I can say is wow, or rather WOW! End product in my wife's Cadillac not only sounds a 100 times better than factory, but the elegance in which they built it blended in perfectly with the interior and class the Escalade demands. I brought my RV here for a car stereo install. I noticed that the screen is acting up, it restarted the screen but not the sound and also there's static noted once in a while. I took it back here when I got the chance. The owner recommended to add a relay for extra $50 plus tax, after install the problem was still there so I brought it back the same day. He replaced the whole unit which has 2 year warranty, since then the problem was fixed, but it cost me the $$ for the relay. He could have just changed the unit per warranty but not. I actually used this business a couple years ago to have a few things done before we hit the road. Bingo convinced us that even though he was a little more expensive, he guaranteed that he provided quality work. We spent about $4000 at this location and not one thing worked out the way we wanted it to. The biggest issue we have had was with the Century truck cap that we bought for about $3,000 since they were an authorized dealer and installer. We came back from our travels about a year later to get help with some major leakage from the door of the truck cover. Bingo told us it was the truck's fault and there he was nothing he could do. Now, another year later, we found another major leak from the break light of truck cover. I have been trying to contact the manufacturer, as I don't want to be turned away again at the New Era Sound location, but now I'm realizing I can't even get in contact with the manufacturer as their website won't let you send messages. After spending $3000, I feel like there should be solutions to all of the leaks that we have to try and fix ourselves. Buyer be warned at this location! The craftsmanship on Century truck covers is absolutely TERRIBLE, and Bingo will not help find a solution to fix it. You are on your own!!! As a reply to the business owner: thank you for the LEER info. That makes sense why the century website doesn't work. I spent $3000 on a CUSTOM MADE truck cover that leaks. You blamed it on the truck, which I see you are agreeing with because yes, part of it was the truck gap that I fixed on my own, as you offered no way of fixing it and told us we were on our own. But I would like to reiterate that the cover is custom made for my truck so that isn't really a good look when something is custom made for a truck and it leaks in multiple places. I have added new leak issues in this review that are 100% caused by terrible craftsmanship, which you have failed to address in your response to me, validating the issues that we have had with the products and quality of work coming from your store. The speakers we had installed by you in the travel trailer STILL have static when we use it, and the "custom made" truck cover that you endorse and installed has had nothing but issues. It's not personal at all, it's just what is happening, and we aren't satisfied with what we got. After reading your response, it's clearly not about fixing the problem and finding solutions, it's about making excuses for these problems. That validates why I don't want to go back to this store and want to contact the manufacturer directly. I want solutions, not excuses. read more

So I recently purchased a new car and the speakers were decent but needed help. Knew a sub and amp were highly needed! New era has done 4 stereo systems for me over 12 years, so in different cars. I get my sub that I want and they match it with an amp! They are always helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make me happy. With this new system we had to put the amp under the back seat since my husband uses a wheelchair. So I need to have plenty of room with the back seats down and nothing in the way. Pricing was a little out of my budget but it's our first brand new car and probably my husband's last so she has to be top notch, he deserves it! I came here to get an estimate for a stereo install on my motorcycle. I ended up doing it myself because of cost. But, they gave me some advice, so I decided to get a set of 6x9s from them because of the help and because they are local. I ended up not using the speakers and never removed them from the box. I tried to return them less than two weeks later and was told I could only get store credit. I have no need for any more stereo equipment so these speakers are now useless. This is a poor way to do business. I tried to support a local community store, yet when the product I purchased did not suit my needs, they did not support me with a refund like you would expect from any store. I returned things from this system install that were purchased through eBay and Amazon and got refunds less a small restock fee. But my local store left me high and dry. read more

I have had this business install systems in three cars, and a motor home. They are a bit pricey (no cheap/crappy systems at this store) but the work was absolutely professional and made the systems look almost like a factory job. I read the other reviews on this store and think they are critical because the customer made bad decisions and wanted N.E.S. to cover their goofs. I don't even know what to say. I took my truck back to era because the stereo stopped working. I have gotten equipment put in and within a month or two it stopped working. I also bought an amp and deck plus all new wires and payed for them to installed it. which cost me hundreds of dollars and now my amp n sub aren't working after the stereo was fixed. Like I said I bought a new stereo deck and a new amp from them which the amp Itself was like over $400 not including for them to install it which was another few hundred dollars. Then I bought the stereo which was probably around 300. Plus a couple hundred for them to install it. Not mentioning the few hours I had to wait for them to install everything. Now All I have is a regular stereo with regular sound. I'm so frustrated that I paid hundreds of dollars and I'm still paying on the stereo n equipment n labor only to have a stock stereo sound. These guys are the best in the business, professional and knowledgeable. Owner Bingo and manager Irwin did an incredible job installing an alarm and lock motors on my 67' Volkswagen Bug. I was having trouble unlocking my car and not able to get replacement parts decided to take my car to New Era Sound. Bingo was honest from the start not knowing for sure whether motors were going to work well since it was an old car therefore door mechanism is much different to newer cars, nevertheless Bingo was willing to give it a try, also to work with me if installation was for some reason unsuccessful. The day I took in my car for installation I spoke with Irwin who was going to work on my car. Irwin was professional and confident telling me he would do his best to make it work. I left knowing I was leaving my car in good hands. After a few hours I got a call my car was ready for pick up. I was shown in detail what was done to my car, how to work the alarm and instructed not to hesitate to call or stop by if I had any questions. Excellent customer service, happy I took my car to them.
