Whoever answered the phone didn't give me her name but said if she can send someone she would call me. I called this morning, and reminded her who I was politely and wanted to know if she had an idea when she can send someone out so I can plan my day around it as we need this door fixed. With a nasty tone and attitude she said, "I told you yesterday I would call you if I can send someone out!" I said, "you know what cancel the order" and she said "O.K." and hung up before I can ask for a manager or owner to complain about her attitude. I called back and asked to speak to a manager or owner and she said she can take a message. I proceeded to ask for a phone number and she said, "I'm the manager and I will not give you any phone numbers!" I told her I don't appreciate her attitude and she began saying I'm harassing her and that I'm giving her an attitude and that she's going to call my boss. I said, "I am the owner." She said, "I will call your franchiser because you're a franchisee and tell them you're harassing me!" Again, she hung up! What kind of a business allows a person to speak to potential clients this way. Additionally, adding insult to injury by accusing me of harassing them. In addition to being a franchisee, I am the regional manager for Pennsylvania and South Jersey (currently 17 studios going on 25 in the next year) for Orangetheory Fitness and a International Corporate Master Educator. I wouldn't have these titles if I had a history of harassing people and having bad customer service skills. I had a window issue in my new home that I couldn't find anyone to help with. I contacted multiple contractors and different companies and it was clear my business was never important - I'd get ghosted for appointments, took months to get quotes, and more. I finally found Smart Shield and was contacted almost immediately after requesting a callback. The owner, Bryan, was so incredibly kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. He helped customize a plan for our home based on what would remedy our current situation and prevent future issues. The process to get started was easy (and very digital which earns extra bonus points in my book) and it was a few weeks until installation. The installation went great and I've never had an issue with the windows. It went so well, that we had Smart Shield come back and put in new doors for us, more window replacements, and replace our siding. While that was a bigger job, the process was just as wonderful. The team at Smart Shield is HIGHLY communicative. The installation crew are all lovely, respectful, and masters of their craft. They have impeccable clean up after as well! They are my first call whenever we need something done and will continue to be the only company I recommend.
