Their offer was the best for the price and Raul and I discussed exactly what the finished product would look like. He met both expectations. The company was very professional and the communication about time and the work and anything else that came up was exceptional. At one point Raul and I went to a couple tile stores because I had a design idea. We couldn't find what I was looking for but Raul had an idea. There was an old display sample and he asked if he could take it. There was just enough material to complete the design. (he has a great tile guy) I like I said I was happy with the work that was done in my bathroom so when I was ready and able I hired Baja Construction to remodel my kitchen. Neither project were major projects. My house is older and the bathroom and kitchen are on the smaller side. This actually made it harder to find a contractor at a good price. There was some major changes without disturbing the original footprint. A doorway was sealed off and the water heater removed and replaced with a gas water heater that was placed outside. The kitchen seems so much larger now. I had a lot of input on some of the materials that were used in the both projects. Raul took me to a couple great counter stores and eventually found the perfect counter material. On a couple other things like cabinets I followed his suggestions. Like I said the communication was good. The end product was as good as I could hope for. I actually contracted his electrician for a couple small jobs after all the work had been done because I trusted the their people. The good news is that he was so fair and honest; he really watched costs which is so unusual, and in the end, I could be so much more innovative and creative and do so much more than I could have been with any another contracting firm; even more importantly, we had such a good time working together (even the demolition which I dreaded was a piece of cake because of Doug).
