For me they have always done a more than perfect job, meanwhile being careful to minimize collateral damage, and left the work site in very clean condition. What a disappointment. I worked with this company in July when my neighbor's rats chewed through…read morethe hose of his dishwasher and flooded me. They were responsive and did beautiful work sso where did I turn when my neighbor flooded me again? This time they were not responsive and provided a bloated quotation that did not provide the quantity and size/amt information needed by my insurance. They drug their heels for two weeks and then simply stopped responding. I appreciate Yelp because I was able to find three companies able to work with my insurer's offer. I withdraw my earlier review and support for this company. Edit: I learned a few things the second time around: drywall should not have gone down to the ground, edging/trim is inexpensive readily available and costs $20/box, and the cable connector was sealed inside the wall -not cool

I hired them for drywall repairs in my condo after ice dam leaks caused damage in multiple ceiling…read moreareas. The job involved cutting out and replacing sections of the ceiling, patching, and handling loose insulation above, plus some added stress crack repairs. They did a thorough walkthrough upfront and clearly explained everything, which I appreciated. The finished work looks clean and ties in well with the existing ceiling. I had a bunch of minor stress cracks, and they patched and painted everything very well. They even fixed some nicks and dents from old paint jobs, which was a nice extra. The two-person crew was skilled, friendly, and very respectful of the space. There were a couple minor hiccups at the start (a payment system glitch and a delayed arrival on day one), but everything was resolved quickly. They use an online system that sets you up with an account, keeping your quote, invoice, and scheduled appointments all in one place, with simple online payment. I got multiple bids, and their pricing was very reasonable. The owner came out at the end to personally check the work and make sure I was happy. Honestly, it was a pleasure to deal with folk who take pride in their work and their reputation. Overall, a positive and painless experience. Would definitely hire again.

One of the decks required removal of a flight of stairs and both needed to have the railings reinforced. Working with Gabriel to make this happen was a pleasure! He is very personable and responsible -- in other words, his standards are very high as reflected by the outcome of our decks repair project. Not only did his team do a great job repairing our worn decks, but also they cleaned the work spaces thoroughly each day. All in all, we are very pleased and intend to contact Gabriel Iwano whenever we have a construction project in the future.

Keep looking! Do not use!…read more I hired Iwano and Sons for a high-spec paint job on my house. Scraping, power washing, priming, caulking, carpentry and repairs as needed, and 2 coats of California paint. The job was done, but in less than 3 years I had significant pealing and cracking on 3 sides of the house. 3 years is past the 2-year guarantee, but the level of failure experienced in such a short time should have been addressed. I brought it to Gabriel's attention and offered to supply the paint and to address the first story issues myself. I just wanted the parts that required 2nd story work to be done with his labor. He agreed, BUT ONLY IF I PAID. I moved on from this supplier. In addition to this, when originally doing the job, he did not address an area where rotting wood should have been replaced. Neglecting the repair at that time resulted in much more advanced damage and required more rework and with it more cost when it was addressed. When I hired Gabriel, the carpentry was on a time and material basis and would not have cost him profit from the paint job. Doing the work would have resulted in more revenue for him. Do not use this supplier. He does not do the work correctly and if it does fail, he does not stand behind his work.
