The process of pursuing an LTC for the first time (or ownership of any firearm) can very well be an intimidating process initially and courses can be stuffy/awkward but Daniel really helped one to digest the very serious topics, responsibilities and laws of gun ownership through engaging conversation, an open dialogue and a wonderful presentation. I was told yes. Then was told to call back an hour before coming up so they could reserve a lane for me. I did. Got there, and was told I needed to have a friend with me. I was not aware of this and he told me that he "always says that on the phone". I chose not to argue, but I know for a fact I was not told that over the phone. I would have questioned as to why I needed someone with me because I thought it was odd. If someone is that determined, they could go to an LTC class and just do it anyways so that policy just seems redundant. Idk that's just my opinion, but I did not appreciate driving up here expecting to shoot on a Saturday night then having to go home.
