My mom was taken to the ER on Wednesday and passed today in Lowell General. I can't speak highly…read moreenough about the doctors and nurses in this hospital. They were caring, compassionate and very professional. Their treatment of my mom and my brother and I was so caring. I highly recommend this hospital. I do want to mention one thing. When I arrived at the ER I noticed they were giving my mother vancomycin. I immediately went to the nurses station with my brother and told them to get my mother off of that she was highly allergic to it. When the woman came in to do my mother's registration, I looked at the form she gave me and told her that was not my mother that was not my mother's chart that was not her date of birth, her age she never lived at that address nor had that insurance. She said she would be back in a little while would give me some time to take in everything that was going on and she would be back to confirm the information. My reply was that she could come back in five minutes or two hours. It wasn't going to be my mother. The doctor then came in and apologized for using the wrong chart and I explained to him my mother had never been in that hospital before, and he stated that that was why she was given the Vanco my son because it was off of somebody else's chart. my advice is when you're going in the ER make sure that they are using the right chart.

I told them I'm at constant 9 level pain and they let me sit there for 6 hours while they took everyone else of which none looked like they were in pain. One other woman looked like she was hurting and she sat there for 6 hours then left. I'm at 6.5 hrs now and still no help and the emergency room had no more than 20 people all afternoon and night. Whoever directs this emergency room needs to be fired immediately! Update: once I finally got into the next level everything was great and they figured out the problem quickly and took good care of me.

Words cannot even express how incredibly amazing Dr. Eliopoulos and her staff truly are. From the…read moremoment I walked into Dr. E's office, I instantly knew this is who I was going to place my trust in for my cosmetic procedure (and any other future procedures!!!!!). I was welcomed warmly by everyone from the front desk staff, the nurse Sarah (who is also amazing!!) and by Dr. Eliopoulos, herself. I was completely comfortable. Dr. Eliopoulos spent more than an hour with me for my consultation and provided so much education about the procedure and what I could expect. I was very impressed that a physician would spend much time with a patient, especially for a consultation. Her nurturing approach to caring for her patients was just as impressive to me as her impeccable attention to the detail of her work. She understood what I wanted to achieve and helped me to set realistic expectations. On the day of surgery, she made sure I was completely comfortable. I was so excited and not in the least bit nervous as I knew I was in good hands! After the surgery she called my husband and came to check on me, which made me feel well cared for! I have recommended Dr. Eliopoulos to my friends and will continue to recommend her to anyone looking for the best in the field! I am so happy with my results and truly grateful to her!

The RN who…read morewas outstanding and so helpful with information about my CHF and COPD that hadn't been explained to me in laymens terms before. She also was able to help me understand all the new and prior meds and their interactions. Nurse Casey is the best. A young nurse from India is soon to be able to pass her exams and be an RN here in Lowerr. She is already a trained medical nurse with a great compassion and love for her patients. Took such excellent care of me even when it was so busy. Her first name is Archi. Archi deserves a medal. When we were leaving and she brought me to the curb my husband tried to tip her but she gave the money to a homeless woman sitting on the bench. These two individuals are exceptional care givers and made it possible for me to endure my 4th long stay since 12/2022. Regards, Beverley Retjos

Went in on a Sunday evening for my three year old daughter that had a rhinestone stick in her ear…read more The emergency waiting room was filthy dirty. I mean filthy! Hospital room within the emergency center was filthy dusty dirty. Stains on the floor, hair on the bed. (Etc) Nurse that saw my 3 year old daughter jammed the rhinestone in further after telling me she could get it out with no problem at all. Doctor on call didn't initially believe there was anything in her ear until I showed him the picture of what it looked like before the "nurse" jammed it so far in it could no longer be seen. Tried to contest the bill for emergency room services since no service was provided and my daughter ended up needing surgery to remove the rhinestone. Hospital management reviewed the case and deemed the night a success and the nurse provided commensurate care to my daughter. Absolute joke of a hospital. Spend an extra 20 minutes in the car and go to Boston.
