Bon Air Exteriors, who originally installed all the siding in the neighborhood, inspected it and insisted, despite all my questions, that the damage was caused by the sun even though there were no windows to reflect the heat on part of the siding. Since the siding had been discontinued, their only solution was to replace the entire end of the house with a slightly different color siding. I declined. I just had the siding replaced by someone who found matching siding. I told him the damage was from the sun, but once he removed the old boards he said the real problem was improper installation--the siding had been installed far too tightly. Grrr. Will never use this company again! Bon Air Exteriors replaced the siding on numerous homes in the neighborhood at no charge because they obviously accepted responsibility. I had to foot the bill for my repair since taking responsibility was obviously costing them too much so they chose to blame the sun!!

As a side note, my husband had broken his collar bone and we were unable to move heavy furniture off old deck. Not only did they move furniture off, when new deck was finished they moved it back. What a great crew. I would recommend Bon Air Exteriors for any project. J. Butler, S. Chesterfield

Wilton Construction Services - This water damage is on both sides of the shower stall. I can only imagine what's happening inside the walls.

Their customer service is horrible, Their estimate left out many things. Work was behind schedule and they sub contracted. Sent me the wrong itemize bill and then a notice of late payment when they didn't respond to my inquiry about it. Wrong measurements, wrong orders, I had to pay for things myself to get my kitchen back. They charged me for work they didn't do...supplies they didn't order. How they manage to stay in business baffles me. Many months later I'm still upset about it. NEGATIVE 1000 STARS.

After demoing and removing everything to the wall studs the crew at Wilton installed the tub floor wrong. They didn't secure the base with mortar which caused the floor to move around and make loud cracking noises. You could hear the cracking noise from the other side of our home. We complained and they told us that was normal. We finally asked them to come and listen for themselves. They agreed it was not normal. Their solution was to drill holes underneath the shower stall base and put in some expanding foam. Well, the foam fell apart and the cracking noises came back within a week. So, we complained again. When they finally came back they drilled from underneath and pushed the shower stall up a little higher. That caused the back shower wall to buckle. Now the shower leaks inside the back wall and is pouring out from the front sides of the shower stall. Lord knows how much damage is being caused inside the walls. I'm starting to smell mold now that it's summer time. We called and asked them to come back and fix this situation and they ignore us now. We texted pictures of the baseboard damage being caused by the water and they didn't care. It's only been a few months and the damage is getting worse. The seal they put around the shower doors is falling out and the water damage is ugly and dangerous.

Charlestowne Decks and Gazebos - Pergolas are a very attractive way to help beat that mid-summer heat. One day I want to build one with fine mist sprayers.

He also did it for a very reasonable price and with friendly workers. We have had so many contractor horror stories with others due to their prices, quality, customer service or all three. It was a great relief to find someone in the home repair business who was honest and very straightforward. He even turned down some extra work, and said we could always get it done later if we really wanted to do it. If you check out his website, he doesn't just put up pictures of his work, he describes the specific jobs and what design parts he likes or didn't like about it. I would believe he designs backyard projects while he dreams. If only he did plumbing and driveways! Thanks Steve, we hope we can use you again sometime.

I love what I do because I consider myself an artist first and a builder/designer/contractor second and I take great satisfaction in creating beautiful designs that customers love and appreciate. Their smiles, when they see the finished product is reward enough but we do all have bills to pay so I can't work for free but I would venture to say I stay within the cost ranges of other builders. We signed a contract w Deck Creations in Sep of 21, they promised to start no later than 16 weeks…read morelater and started about 30 weeks later. They promised a completed project 4-6 weeks after starting and finished in about 18 weeks. During that entire time we had both a large dumpster and porta-potty in our driveway. We engaged them to design/build both a composite deck and paver hardscape area. During the deck construction the subcontractor was fired and at least one inspection was failed by the county. We were contacted directly by the subcontractor about re-hiring them, this made the situation particularly awkward. The deck was finished by another contractor who had to tear down at least half of what was previously done. The hardscape area was completed by a single subcontractor. The resulting space was short about 2.5 feet in width, leaving us ***** sq feet less room around the fireplace than contracted. This was space was especially important to us since it is around the fireplace(center) of the hardscape area. During the process I never got the impression that our project manager had command of the project or was really looking out for us. Ultimately, Deck Creations admitted that the space was indeed short the space around the fireplace sitting area as designed. They offered no remedy, only to waiver the small final residual payment and leave the project. I honestly believe I would have ended up with a better outcome by hiring subcontractors on my own. I also regret not taking the time to understand the details of the contract they had me sign. In hindsight I should have paid closer attention to the extensive protections afforded to them at my expense.
