The reports include descriptions and photos of defects or deficiencies which make it easy to communicate any issues with all parties involved and potentially with contractors that need to be hired to complete needed repairs. First, we were not invited to inspect the home we were purchasing. Second, Justin missed several obvious issues in his inspection that are costing us hundreds of dollars in added expense. These include spouting falling off of the house, a yellow jacket infestation coming from a nest above the ceiling access panel, door handles that do not work, a faulty garage door, electrical outlets that do not work, and a dryer vent that is inadequately ventilated, just to name a few. When I contacted Justin, he refused to take responsibility. His inspection was done on 11/6. We moved into the home on 12/10. It is now 12/23. He tried to claim that all of these issues miraculously occurred after his inspection. I definitely do not recommend this business.

He said that he was going through open invoices and found mine and requested that I look for my records. I paid the owner cash the day of the Inspection and apparently he had no record of my payment. Luckily I kept my receipt, which he had signed and wrote "paid cash" on it. I just think it is very unprofessional to contact a customer 8 months after a service and request that they look for record of payment. If I had tossed that receipt or lost it, I'm sure he would have been knocking on the door for his payment which I had already paid. It's a shame that this happened, very unprofessional. I feel if you leave an invoice open for 8 months and don't know if the person paid you or not, you should eat it.

The website was easy to use, you can book online, and you can see the pricing for every item as you're booking so there are no surprises. He even called while I was booking to make sure I didn't have any questions and I actually did so he explained each option on his site and didn't try to sell me any more than what we needed! The pricing was extremely fair and reasonable. I was able to get an appointment with him for the very next morning and you can pay online, with cash, or with a check so lots of convenient options. He showed up early and began by taking pictures of the outside of the house and of the roof (with a drone, so cool and great picture quality!). He gave us an overview of what we could expect and then went over everything as we went through the inspection. He was thorough, professional, and great at explaining everything we needed to know. Later in the day we received the final report that goes over every item and is color coded based on urgency. It also includes a suggestion of who you should contact to fix each item (i.e. electrician, contractor, plumber, DIY, etc). He has a sample report on his website that I would highly recommend taking a look at! Finally, after all was said and done, he sent a follow up email letting us know that we could contact him anytime with questions. Overall we had a fantastic experience with Kurt and I would recommend him to all of my friends and family!

My first day with the keys I realized the kitchen counter was not at all attached to the kitchen counter and there was a leak in the pipes underneath the kitchen sink. After living there for two days the handle to the shower faucet broke off completely - this might not have been something he could've caught but I feel like as an inspector you would typically have a better eye than the average person for things like that.
