This very large store shockingly does not offer public restrooms which I find extremely surprising because they offer so much to look at and their prices are a little higher than the surrounding stores but they value their customers so little that they won't offer them a restroom. That is why I am subtracting one star but I'm subtracting a second star because when I asked the owner at the counter if they had a public restroom she was very short and blunt with me and her response of no and that I can go to another business across the street followed by the expression that I was exhausting her while she spoke to the floor. The way she spoke to me made me feel like I was nothing more than a dollar sign and the lack of restrooms solidified that feeling. If I could subtract half of a star further for her lack of customer service in the way that she spoke to me I would also do that but alas I will be leaving three. We did find some really fascinating pieces in the store which unfortunately we had to put back but among those items were vintage bottles, books and a sewing machine. They have such a great variety here. My recommendation is to have you and your children use the restroom before coming to this establishment and to be sure you do not have coffee or any fluids before walking around this labyrinth antique store.

There are several stores (right in this block) that local artists display/sell their works. As soon as we walked into ARTFX we were welcomed by Carlos. Great guy and great mix of his and local crafts. It's a fun store to explore so plan to hang out and you won't go broke - reasonably priced and high quality products make it a must stop when you're in the area. There was a great print of two zebras in the wild which was fantastic. Also, almost picked up a coffee mug that said "owl always love you" and had a picture of an owl. A lot of cute stuff. The radio was playing the local rock station, which was pretty cool to hear 90s classics from Tool (Sober) the Red Hot chili peppers (Zephyr) and Fuel (In My Hands Again). The customer service was on point--when I tried to buy a coaster, and I didn't understand where to insert my card into the reader, the cashier was very helpful by pointing out exactly where to insert the card. Overall, a pretty cool location, and I was surprised how much it was going off on a Tuesday afternoon--lots of locals perusing the various hidden treasures to be found at this intriguing angel view location.

I loved all of the stores open in Pioneertown, and I noticed that everyone was welcoming and kind. It sort of reminded me of Williamsburg in Virginia but no one was in character which I honestly appreciated more. I thought that Williamsburg was a bit much in that way. I loved how authentic the town store looked even though the products weren't necessarily authentic to the time. I would have loved to see more antique items besides the clothing they had available for sale. I would love to come here again and take some friends or come with my family again.
