So I walk in and it seems to be a family atmosphere. A young lady was using a frother for the first time and put it into a carbonated drink. The ensuing explosion of foam was hilarious, but the reaction of the staff was exactly what you would expect from a small-town coffee shop; encouraging and inspiring, and we all got a good laugh. Now the coffee, I've been there three times, and this is the best place in town for your fancy drink. If you're passing through New Bremen in need of a pick up, this is the place. Dirty Chai: great. Not too sweet and great iced or cold. Latte? Just as good. I'll keep coming back. The atmosphere is great and there's plenty of places to sit. I stopped and got food and a drink here one morning. The breakfast sandwich was good and so was my drink. They were really busy when I stopped so it took a while to get my drink. So I would make sure you have extra time if you are going somewhere, if stopping in the morning. read more

What a terrific establishment, cute, quaint, great service and delicious. Right on Monroe street in the heart of New Bremen village. This coffee shop would be highly favored even in the big cities. Quality quiche, breakfast burritos, scramble in a cup and plenty of breakfast sandwiches, muffins, bagels, cafe espresso , fresh brewed and the price, it can't be beat ($2.50 for a 16oz Chai) 'Elite Yelper say what?'. This really is a fantastic place, free WiFi, very local that you can tell the whole town is proud of. They even have some local products on their shelves for purchase and a little bit of merch with their brand on it. Come check out New Bremen coffee, relaxing, peaceful and oooo so good. With the nearest Starbucks in the Kroger in Sidney (~15 miles/20 minutes away), New Bremen Coffee Company is a oasis in the Starbucks desert. They serve all the expected coffees and teas, offer whole bean coffee -- if you feel the need to grind your own, and have a variety of baked goods and candy treats from other local businesses. Service was quick, coffee was excellent and met the caffeine requirement for the morning. Although they don't have a drive-thru option, parking was easy in front of the shop or headed Westbound across the street. To go with the morning joe, they have numerous breakfast options like muffins, donuts, bagels and breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, croissants, a breakfast casserole and a scramble in a cup. They also have a lunch menu with salads, sandwiches and wraps, and publish their daily specials on their website with a printable calendar option to track the specials. For a small shop, there is a wide variety and a surprisingly on-line ordering is available on their website. A great local alternative to the green mermaid. read more

My family and I love this place. It is our go to place when traveling to Coldwater, Ohio. The food and coffee are both so delicious! On our last visit we had a cherry muffin, it was so fresh, moist, and absolutely delicious! It had lots of whole cherries bursting through it. We had one of their special Thai Wraps and it was fantastic, very colorful and authentic in taste. The coffee was great. They have a variety of coffee blends and flavors to choose from. Our son got a flavoured Italian Soda and loved it. Again, they had lots of flavors to choose from. We have liked everything we have ever had there. The decor is very modern and bright. The place was very clean and inviting. Even the bathrooms were very clean and fresh smelling! The employees are friendly and helpful. read more

Maybe because we are in a small town the counter service here was slow. We waited at least 4 minutes to get helped with 3 people with their backs to us. I got my own coffee after finding it myself. The quiche was good with a flaky crust. But the slow service put a damper on our breakfast. read more

During my assignment from my employer to travel the country and find the nations greatest small town I made a stop in new bremen ohio and I still haven't left because it is fan-fucking-tastic. im a serious god damned coffee junkie so naturally upon hearing of this place i had to check it out. ever seen that super dooper awesome 90's sitcom tv show "friends" and their coffee place they always hung out at called 'central perk' well imagine that only way better with not as many douche bag New Yorkers. the girls that were staffing the place were crazy friendly and more than helpful when i was being indecisive with what coffee to get, whatever i had was some type of vanilla i wish i could remember the name cause that shit was so damned tasty. i must say if i run into another business in this little town with people this nice im gonna quit my job in alaska and just move to new bremen ohio. i saw and read the negative review about this place and i think thats Just a cry baby customer being a whiny little bitch who probably just went in here for nothing other than to look for something to be offended by, so dont let that review deter you in any way from trying out this lovely little gem read more

I give this coffee shop 5 stars based on location more than anything. Small towns often times do not have the same quality of services as larger metropolitan areas. Especially if you like more than Army coffee. The coffee selection is fantastic, including both mocha's and Martha's of any flavor. Additionally the restaurant is housed in a very nice modern building with hard wood floors and a very comfortable atmosphere.
