I had a specific appointment set and throughout the years they never made a mistake until this time. My card listed one date and time and just before that date/time I received a text from them confirming my appointment for a week later. At 66 years of age I thought, maybe I was confused; but I wasn't. When I called and asked why they moved my appointment out one week, they said they didn't. They threw the hygienist under the bus and then told me they'd understand if I wanted to find a new dentist. At first I said, of course not, let's keep the appointment. But then after speaking to my wife about this, we realized they didn't actually want our business and didn't care if they lost it. My wife and I are both in the service industry and we were flabbergasted by this attitude. Importantly, the person with whom I had this conversation identified herself as the office manager! I'm sure her supervisor is very proud of her. I cannot recommend this practice.
