They offer various health and wellness services such as body contouring, facial resurfacing, collagen building treatments, detoxing, and LED light therapy. They can hold private event services for up to 8 people. The massage therapy rooms and bathrooms were very clean. I received a refreshing mason jar full of water with lemon, collagen, and prebioticd. It was just what I needed before and after my massage. Jacquie the owner also gave me some healthy snacks to try as I left. It's actually a great concept because there are showers located in some of the treatment rooms for privacy, there's a kitchen for storing the collagen water and keto snacks you'll want when your treatments done and it has a really nice vibe to it. Although they offer a variety of treatments I had a Collagen Facial which was new for me. Using a special machine the tech applied heat to my face to raise collagen production. A wonderful mask was also applied and I also received light therapy. I've always done more traditional facials with extractions and peels so this was a whole new way of doing things!! Follow up care included staying out of the sun and drinking lots of water and wearing sunscreen ( things we should be doing anyway). 5 days later I'm writing this review and I'm happy to say my skin looks smoother and healthier. Things to know about the Collagen Facial : 1. It's a special machine that makes the difference. 2. You have to stay out of the sun for a few days or the treatment will not be as effective. 3. It does not hurt one bit and you'll probably fall asleep. 4. You can park right in the driveway or there is also tons of street parking. 5. The owners of Kaila Hou have invested so much time, love and money into this spa!! Everything is top of the line. 6. They sell an awesome product line in Spa. I can only be patient for so long but i asked for a square shaped kateye and got almond shape and the shift of the kateye isn't the same as I've gotten before and she cut me with the drill a few times on my left thumb. If I am going to pay that much for my nails then it should be exactly how I want them. And after getting off the phone with the owner trying to explain how frustrating it is to pay for a $85 manicure when the nail tech wasn't giving that type of service or the nails weren't how I wanted them, the owner just proceeded to give me attitude. This place really is only good for helping and scamming the elderly, and I see why I don't really see any young ladies going there. I thought things would've went differently after speaking to the owner but she was okay with losing a loyal customer today. I don't like how she knows i am a loyal customer and i tip really good and the one time I make a complaint she wants to give me the attitude? I scheduled an…read moreappointment for a routine skin cancer/body scan and the removal of two small skin tags, but the physician assistant barely addressed my actual concerns. Instead, he speculated--without any medical basis--that my skin tags were a sign of insulin resistance and prediabetes, despite my recent lab work being completely normal. Things only got worse from there. He claimed I had "30 or more" skin tags on my neck--an absurd exaggeration, considering I actually had maybe three small ones. I can only assume this was so he could bill insurance for an unnecessary procedure. He also insisted that I needed to buy a numbing cream because, if I came back, I wouldn't be able to "withstand the pain" of removing them. It felt like nothing more than a scare tactic to push unnecessary products. On top of that, he asked completely irrelevant and inappropriate questions about my marriage and insurance while going on a tangent about politics. Rather than providing competent medical care, most of the appointment felt like a sales pitch for cosmetic treatments. He even claimed to "treat" celiac disease, which is not something that requires treatment beyond a gluten-free diet. Fast forward--I quickly realized I was not in capable hands and made an appointment with Hawaii Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Center to see an actual board-certified dermatologist. The difference was night and day. My new doctor was precise, professional, and efficient. They completed the body scan, easily removed a few skin tags--without pushing unnecessary numbing creams or upselling treatments--and the experience was everything a medical visit should be. Do yourself a favor--avoid this place and see a real dermatologist.
