The single room studio has a perfectly placed, massage table, a chair for facial treatments, a couch for comfort, and perfectly placed shelves with various beauty products. And the spa part, well this business offers a full variety of massages (to include prenatal!), facial treatments and waxing services. Treatments are by appointments only, and currently Rachel (the masseuse) does evening appointments. She did an amazing job. I had a crazy kink in my neck, and I told her she had quite a challenge ahead of her. She accepted it and smoothed it out with her hybrid of lomi lomi, Swedish and deep tissue massage. It was just what I needed before and after my massage. Jacquie the owner also gave me some healthy snacks to try as I left. It's actually a great concept because there are showers located in some of the treatment rooms for privacy, there's a kitchen for storing the collagen water and keto snacks you'll want when your treatments done and it has a really nice vibe to it. Although they offer a variety of treatments I had a Collagen Facial which was new for me. Using a special machine the tech applied heat to my face to raise collagen production. A wonderful mask was also applied and I also received light therapy. I've always done more traditional facials with extractions and peels so this was a whole new way of doing things!! Follow up care included staying out of the sun and drinking lots of water and wearing sunscreen ( things we should be doing anyway). 5 days later I'm writing this review and I'm happy to say my skin looks smoother and healthier. Things to know about the Collagen Facial : 1. It's a special machine that makes the difference. 2. You have to stay out of the sun for a few days or the treatment will not be as effective. 3. It does not hurt one bit and you'll probably fall asleep. 4. You can park right in the driveway or there is also tons of street parking. 5. The owners of Kaila Hou have invested so much time, love and money into this spa!! Everything is top of the line. 6. They sell an awesome product line in Spa.
