Second visit sat in the waiting room for a good amount of time, met with the same person as my first visit, asked me how I was doing and when I said the drug was helping that was the end of the office visit. I asked exactly what the "procedure" was and he just chuckled and walked me out of the room. I checked out and was told I had to come back for another appointment the day after the "procedure". I said I would rather not come all the way back one day after having the "procedure" which I assumed was a back injection as that was never made clear. The receptionist was very insistent that I come back the day after the "procedure" as that was one month after my current visit, even after my stating I would rather not after having a back injection the prior day. The appointment was made and after coming home I called to cancel. The receptionist was rather rude but said she would cancel the appointment. To my surprise when I visited the portal, as well as the app, which I had been urged to subscribe to do by a nurse at the office, I had no appointments! I called after the weekend to ask what had happened and I spoke to someone at another office who then connected me with the Asheville office where I had been going. I then spoke to the same rude receptionist who said I had called to cancel the "procedure". I told her that I did not cancel the "procedure" only the bogus visit to the office the day after the "procedure". She then stated "you cancelled the visit because it was so soon after the procedure". She was obviously confused. So she had actually cancelled both the monthly visit as well as the "procedure". She then said "it was no problem to reinstate the appointment for the procedure". I told her I was going to look for another provider as this one was too dysfunctional and I did not feel confident that I would get the help I needed. Cancel this business.

He told me that he'll release me from practice during this difficult time because I yelled at his staff because I'm in complete agony and crippled. He has never gotten on the phone to actually talk to me. Now has Covid and office closed. I must take this higher. This doctor should not be allowed to practice. I will find a new doctor as soon as I can get around if I ever do recover because I can't move. Lost much weight and I'm tiny to begin with. Can't walk and have to crawl.. would not give me any pain medications. I cry all day long!! I'm ready to die. I'm 70 years old a widow and all family dead.. I have no one to help me. Everyone I encountered - non essential staff, clergy, housekeeping, nurses, dietary staff, Medicare reps., surgeons, anesthesiologists, etc. gave me exceptional service. We tried Dr. Swann for our initial visit. We love Dr. Swann. She is thorough, patient, kind and helpful. She listens to my children, she explains herself, and she prompt in responding to issues. I have had some difficulty with the office. There has been several computer system changes (according to the office staff) which has lead to constantly having to update information, inability to log onto the patient portal, and mix-ups with insurance, parent, and payment information. I needed information for my child's school from the doctor's office. I was unable to log in to the patient portal to request the information. I tried to schedule an appointment online and was not allowed to do so. I called the office to request the information. I was told it would be handled. Nothing. I hand delivered a written request. Again, nothing. 2 months later, I have finally scheduled an appointment! Here's hoping we can get all of this resolved before Christmas!

Not only is he a great chiropractor but he's also someone who genuinely wants to help others and it shows both in his care at this clinic but also because he does work out in the community for those who can't afford chiropractic care.
