The only time they had to reschedule me was because all drivers had C*VID, otherwise they are on time rain or shine. Second they take outmost care of you possessions including art and suggest where to save on packing and where to be more careful. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. When you move (and I have done so dozens of times over my lifetime) things can happen and things can break but with LRDM I have had zero to minimum like maybe one cup. I have used them both for local and international moves. International takes usually more than we all hope, there is the element of customs and third parties which is beyond their control. It started when I reached out to Joseph (as well as another moving company) and let him know we sold our house and only had 25 days to be out. I did not know where we were going. Oh, and one more thing, I knew it would be a smaller rental (somewhere) and about half our belongings would need to be stored in a warehouse somewhere). None of these obstacles were a problem for Honest & True moving. Unlike the other quote which was done over the phone, Joseph came to our house and gave us an item-by-item quote. I was so impressed at his taking note of every chair, lamp, rung or box. At the same time, he was iflexible. He would ask about an item and often times I would say "I don't know yet." Having sold our house after just one showing with only three weeks to get out, our life was in chaos and Joseph brought calm to our chaos. He went with the flow, and was willing to add or remove items later as needed. Skip forward to moving day, be brought a large drew and also two trucks- one which was moving our belongings going to our new accommodation, and a second truck dedicated to those item going to storage. That was very smart and efficient of him and made the loading process much easier for the crew. And speaking of the crew, they were amazing. Due to our chaos my wife and I knew (in our head) which items were going into storage, but we had not marked each item. Pro time- if you are in this situation, get colored post it notes to indicate which items are going into storage and which are moving to your new place. There was a lot of pointing with "Storage" or "Apartment" which must have driven the crew crazy but they did awesome. They were so nice and friendly. They also cared for every items of ours like it was a Picasso painting. Ever item was carefully wrapped, including four massive televisions I featured wouldn't work but I plugged them in at my new house and everting is perfect. Second pro tip- Have some cash on hand to tip the crew! While not requires, it's really appreciated. As I mentioned, most of my items are in their warehouse for about a year. I will update my review after the second move, but for now I think the crew at Honest & true, including Joseph in particular, are fantastic and I would note hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends or familiar who are moving. She was also able to give me an approximate estimate regarding the timeframe and cost of the move. The day before the move, I was contacted for confirmation. Reed's provided my high-rise condominium with their Certificate Of Insurance . I was contacted by the crew 10 minutes prior to their arrival to let me know that they were on their way.
