I contacted them on Thursday and I had an appointment set up for the following Monday within a few hours. The intake forms were online, covered all the necessary information without being overly involved, and the staff was constantly responsive. It's a beautiful office and the NP I met with was direct, to the point, and most importantly kind and compassionate. He listened to my concerns and my experience with my own mental health without judgment. Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for care for their mental health.

My parents had tried some family counseling back years ago, let's just say it was not a good experience. Taking a break and restarted as a young adult with a one-on-one. It was also not a great experience. So moving to SC was hard and I felt like it was time to try again. I came across Bridge Of Hope Counseling and decided to look up the website. I was able to contact them within a day. I was contacted by one of the therapists and when we could meet. That was one of the hardest steps forward, but very important. I have been going for now about 4 months and I can honestly say it's one of the best parts of the week. Have therapists who are Christians and can meet you where you are and also give biblical views as well as connect as brothers and sisters in Christ! Each therapist and intern there is amazing and gifted however, I do have my favorite!

Was going to counseling as a newly single mom and the struggles with this...and they still charge me $75 for not cancelling "soon enough." I'm not a repeat offender- I've never cancelled late. Nor did I this time. But bc the right hand over there doesn't know what the left hand is doing, I get charged. They just care about money.

I really liked her ability to help get over some of the preconceived notions I had about mental health services. All of our conversations have been very relaxed and non-judgemental. I have never felt pressured to make any one particular change or acknowledge something I felt uncomfortable with. And that really has meant a lot to me, being a stubborn middle age white guy with a lifetime of not so great decision making. I would recommend her to any adult looking for someone easy to talk to that can offer helpful feedback.

I asked for help to locate her room and the staff was so friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to see how well taken care of the residents were. I noticed great effort was given to provide an atmosphere where the residents felt included in social events and activities. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and how well it was maintained. I was given a tour of the property and the grounds were very well kept. I saw leisurely activities the residents could take part in, as well as spaces for family members to come and celebrate with them. Afterwards, I ate at one of their cafe's and really enjoyed the lunch. Everywhere I went, the staff was so friendly. It had the feel of being home. If I had to refer someone to a nursing/residential facility, this would be the place.

The entire Rehab Team created a caring environment with an impeccably high standard of care, delivered with warmth to my mother when she was admitted after a fall. I was impressed by the Team's manners and compassion, something you rarely find these days. Not one of my questions or concerns went unanswered. The staff demonstrated total commitment into caring for my mother. There were specific individuals who offered exceptional dedication and outstanding professional performance, as well as compassion, understanding, and caring. The Village at Summerville is an institution unique in its compassion for its residents.
