Often Dr. Jim Floyd, the owner of the practice and the doctor I have worked with more than 10 years, will save me money for my treatment versus seeing an MD, who may prescribe unneeded prescriptions, X-rays, MRIs, CTs, etc. I also like that I can go see Dr. Floyd and his staff for a few visits to figure out what's going on and start treatment immediately without a MD referral. Thanks to Dr. Floyd, I was able to fully recover from a herniated disc in my neck with no surgery or injections, in spite of two neurologist recommendations for surgery. Later, when I did actually need surgery, Dr. Floyd helped me through the process to find a shoulder surgeon who was the best fit for me, Dr. Justin Knight, and then has guided me from a sling during recovery to lifting weights overhead, returning to an active lifestyle, and feeling and moving much better than I was prior to the surgery.
