Holly Lewis is the sweetest and most caring physician that I've ever encountered in this phase of my life. She listens and never judges.

This is by far the best practice I've been to because they have real empathy and actually care. Holly Lewis specifically, and Dr. DuBose, are genuine and very effective psychiatrists, and they never give up hope for their patients' recovery. Moving to Columbia, getting married, AND having my first child during Covid has been intense to say the least. I am so thankful that my family doctor referred me to Future Psych Solutions. This practice is unlike ANY OTHER. Seriously. The Referral Coordinator, Julia, was so full of positivity and information . She had my paperwork submitted and my first appointment scheduled before I knew it! She ALWAYS responded to my emails or calls right away. My therapist was absolutely incredible during our first session. I felt completely understood and was given so many tools and ideas for navigating my new life. Whenever I had a question, all I had to do was call Sarah in the front office. She handles EVERYTHING! She does what she says she is going to do. Like, right away. Then calls to update you. I very rarely leave reviews and I'm pretty positive this is my first ever 1 star review. I find myself to be an incredibly patient and understanding person but I am so irritated/confused on how this practice operates. I have been going here for a year, I loved the ability to have zoom meetings it's very helpful for my not very flexible work schedule I work on appointments scheduled a year+ in advance. Recently they changed there rules and maybe it's a federal change but I'm required to go in once a year for an in person appointment. Unfortunately my dr works 3 days a week with not very flexible hours. Ive been trying to link our schedules but I can't seem to make it happen. So I reached out to them to see if I would be able to switch providers with more availability, there response was that I am not allowed to switch providers?? I asked why and they said I should be able to take off of work to accommodate an appointment.... As that would make sense for most careers. It doesn't for mine. I would expect a business that works on appointments, would understand, but unfortunately not this one. Dr. McKinney was great but the business and the way it operates is garbage. I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend. read more

This place lied to me. Told me I was a good candidate for spravato treatment but then refused to treat me. I do not know if the doctor refused or if his staff members were too lazy to complete the necessary paperwork needed for treatment. I waited over 2 months (thinking that they were working on getting me approved for treatment) and then after this 2 month wait they tell me oh we're not going to help you. I'm suffering very bad and I really was looking forward to getting spravato treatment. I'm out of other options as I've tried about 15 or more medications, had a round of TMS, and had ECT. This spravato treatment was my last hope and Future Psych Solutions crushed me. Basically they told me too bad just suffer more. They definitely were not a "solution" to my problem. read more

Absolutely wonderful facility and care plus they accept Tricare! The customer service from scheduling a new patient appointment to checking out after being seen was stellar. The staff are courteous, polite and knowledgeable. My son saw Holly and she provided a thorough assessment, plan of care and support. I look forward to continuing to work with her to ensure my son continues to thrive and be as successful as he can be. They also have a licensed social worker on staff for therapy needs. Her name is Katie. Being a social worker myself this made so happy! They really can treat a patient from every aspect; psychiatrist, mental health nurse and social worker. Love it! A true display of a multi disciplinary team. This is such a benefit to patients. My son is seen for ADHD. If you have a child suffering from ADHD I can specifically recommend them for managing your child's care. read more

My internist referred me to Future Psych Solutions. It was the smartest move I've ever made going there. I previously relied upon my Primary Care physician for my depression medicine and that was a mistake. Holly prescribed me a cocktail of three meds and the difference is night and day. If Holly moved anywhere, I would go there to see her. That is how good she is in her profession. read more

Oh what a relief it is! The biggest headache in getting the proper help needed is battling the ins and outs of establishing care providers who communicate and understand your needs in a comfortable environment. Having relocated from DC, I wasn't sure I'd be able to find the care I needed in Columbia. I was wrong, it took some time, but I stumbled on FPS and won't look back. Therapist, Prescription Management, and advanced treatment....all in one place. Even in DC, the clinics offering TMS and Ketamine (great "reset" button for treatment resistant depression,etc.) would not handle the full spectrum of your care. I credit Dr. DuBose and his practice with saving my life, meant listerally and figuratively. After nearly a decade of struggling with major depressive disorder, BPD, ADHD, PTSD-C and ADHD, I have tried every class of medication, every type of therapy, and just about any and all types of inpatient and outpatient treatment modalities. After a near fatal suicide attempt, I was still struggling with suicidal ideations and thoughts, when a friend recommended Future Psych Solutions after it was monumental in helping her get to the other side of a rough time in her life. 3 years ago, I entrusted Dr. Dubose to help me, committed financially to paying for an innovative treatment even before Spravato was FDA approved and available for people like me with treatment resistant depression. And, 3 years ago, upon doing ketamine treatments at Future Psych under the care & treatment plan from Dr. Dubose and his amazing medical staff, it saved my life. There are no words and thanks enough for the changes I felt, freedom from intrusive and suicidal thoughts and desires, and being given the chance at experiencing a life of happiness and freedom that I was certain was not possible for me. I am so thankful to have been referred here and will always speak highly of and recommend Dr. Dubose and Future Psych Solutions as a provider/practice/treatment practice to anyone and everyone. An added plus of the ketamine infusion treatments is how lovely their sound-proof, relaxing infusion room is and how amazing every person who is employed there, from front office reception to the other providers with varying psychiatric specialties to Dr. Dubose himself, are when it comes to treating patients. I'm a regular patient here, of Dr. Raynor. She is great, I love seeing her. As far as FPS, they are just okay. It's really hard to get a prescription refilled, and also hard to get anyone to call you back, when you have a question, or want an appointment. Like a few people mentioned it can be a little pricey, but I have to say after many years of suffering, Dr. Raynor has helped me a lot. read more

If you're looking for someone to rip you off for healthcare, go here. Before you can even schedule an appointment you have to make a $170 down payment. Granted that money does get applied to your future appointments... still this is absolutely ridiculous and obviously they're just trying to get money out of you. If you went to one appointment and realized you didn't like them, well guess what, they got you're $170 so they're still happy. Doesn't matter if you are as long as they have money read more

The Future Psych Solutions team is wonderful! Dr. DuBose combines expert clinical skills with warmth and a sense of humor. As a 13 year veteran of working with holier than thou doctors and surgeons with 'zero chill' factor, I appreciate the humanity he brings to patient interactions. I can tell he really cares about people and their total well-being. The therapists are nonjudgmental and provide encouragement, support and boundaries. I hear that some people have difficulty with the latter but that is the professional standard for evidence based practice. I also read someone had an issue with the reservation fee (client requested, by the way) or paying up front. Seriously?!?! Can I come to your place of work and not pay for your services? They didn't design a for-payment healthcare system or a society that doesn't care enough about mental health care to pay for it. The correct place for such ire is with your elected representative, not hard-working, honest people who have families to feed too. And lastly... the "up-sell" is out of context. It's common knowledge at this point that medication AND therapy along with lifestyle changes work best for total well-being. So, #1 it would be irresponsible to keep writing prescriptions without attempts to address psycho social stressors and coping skill via therapy sessions. It's the difference between 'sick-care' and true health/well-being services. Of course if my psychiatrist has a recommended and researched vitamin supplement that helps brain health...it's a no brainer (pun intended). If I was going to buy one anyway, why not get it there. It's convenient and win-win. If one service doesn't work for you (as people are individuals), they have other services available. I mean you are coming for expert opinion and recommendations after all, so be prepared to take it. Otherwise, what's the point? My recommendation...do your own research and make your own choice. Medical staff is very kind and competent but charging for *standard* psychiatric appts DAYS IN ADVANCE as a scare tactic is not right. The office seems to be either losing money or simply prioritizing business over health. Both cases are very sad. read more
