She went over everything with me and showed me the earrings. It was way too plain for me and the only downfall - they don't have a good variety to choose from in stock. If you wan't rhinestones/more bling or a specific style, etc., you'll need to order it with her, wait for it to come in and then go back to get your piercing. With the fact that I have been contemplating getting this piercing done for a long time, I knew I was ready to get it done right then and there..but also wanted something with bling. Lucky for me, Shannon was able to find an earring with a "little" bling and told me it was available since the person who ordered it, after a month or so, never came back. I decided to go for it and so glad I did. I did tell Shannon to not show me the needle she was going to use or anything because I'd probably run out of the room lol Shannon was very informative; told me everything she was doing, step by step. She was very clean, very nice and super gentle. It happened so quickly with one deep breath. After she was done, she went over in detail on clean/care instructions. Gold clasp wasn't in my price range, but I found a really cute silver hoop with stones that worked for me and was within my price range. Then my buddy Zach took care of the actual switch--removing the retainer and putting in the new hoop. He got the size just right, and I absolutely love the new look! Hau checked me out, and once again, the whole experience was easy and fun. I really appreciate the entire team at Infinite. Bookings are a few weeks out because they're quite a busy shop so plan in advance. The team is super friendly and greets you when you come in. It's a very welcoming staff and space. They walk you through the process, have you pick out your jewelry and sign a few forms, tell you the total price then you wait in their small waiting area until you get called back to your room. Once you get called back, their rooms are super clean and their piercers are very knowledgeable. They do what you need to feel comfortable, whether that's being walked through step by step of what's going to happen or going in completely blind. The rooms and materials are clean and they set you up for success for healing your piercing.

The staff is super friendly, and the shop takes their service very seriously. I show up at my allotted time (maybe 10 mins early cause there's always paperwork). I get all signed in. The person running the desk is usually pretty busy. They seem to get a lot of calls and bookings when the shop is full of artists and folks. When it's my turn I get escorted back to the artist or they come and get me in the cute little waiting area. There's clearly a lot of time taken to keep the shop clean here. I've seen so many single use sanitary needles and paper towels among other things. Everything gets wiped down before I get going. The artists do a good job of making sure you are ready and super happy with the sizing and placing. One of my tattoos I actually asked to be moved three or four times and I felt like a butt but the artist was super chill about it. I am not the person to send back a restaurant dish if it's wrong and it took some practice to tell artists to resize or relocate an outline. During the tattooing process I get asked a good number of times if I'm comfortable or if I need to stand up and shake it out. They do have water and snacks if you forget, but you should always eat! I will always return to this shop. It's a third-place for me for sure. I always feel like family.

Twelve Ounce Studios may not be the cheapest option out there but it also isn't the most expensive…read more I searched online for several months for shops near me in South jersey - I finally chose Twelve Ounce for two reasons: 1) The social media and website were consistently updated 2) I could walk to the shop (an auto seatbelt would rub the area I wanted inked) While option two may not be important to everyone, it was a concern for me. I was last inked in the late 90s and in a different city and different body location so it had been a while for me. Also, they are easy to access off of US/NJ 130 north - just a few hundred feet north of the Brooklawn circles on Rt 130 north. I had the first appointment on a Thursday afternoon and Tami G did my work. I can not say enough for how great an experience she made it. Not only did she take the simple phrase I wanted to a work of art she presented options I had not considered. The shop interior is clean and 'hip' - whatever that means - and instills confidence.. I did have to wait a while as Tami developed art for me and then the stencil but it was time well worth the wait. Tami also encouraged me to critique placement and size - neither I had an issue with as she has an excellent sense of proportion and location. There was another client in the shop with me as I waited - his artist also consulted several times and listened to what the client wanted and revised the artwork several times. As other reviewers have posted, the private rooms are greatly appreciated. Do check out the work Tami has done on her own self - it is excellent. I will be returning to Twelve Ounce Studios for more work. The staff is personable, creative and professional. You will not be disappointed!
