Wow I'm very shocked at my experience this time around. This was a great spot to go during the summer or whenever you were craving something sweet. That amount of items they have available from simple ice cream flavors to flavors you won't find any other place. They even have paletas (popsicle) flavor chocolate de abuelita. They have a lot of Latino snacks, from squites (Corn) to tostilocos, biónicos, salchichas, nachos even chicharrones. So you must be asking wow they have a great selection why two stars, this is why... I had the tostilocos, some the tamarindo gummies were old, the cacahuates were rancid, the chips were stale and soft. I had the gansito ice cream and the milk tasted bitter like I had gone bad. And mind you this place is really clean staff is super polite and chill. And like I mentioned I've been here plenty of times and had never had a bad experience but over the years the place is just going down. I feel like before they renovation and the look the place just focus on looking better instead of quality of food. I'll probably be back and check it out again maybe I had a bad batch but having 2-3 things go wrong and prices are not super cheap either. Sadly, as I waited for my order I watched as the lady prepared an order for someone else which required tomatoes, .. she went next door to the market to buy tomatoes because they were out, when she returned she started chopping them up to add to the order without washing!! . I could not believe my eyes. With the current pandemic situation I'm very surprise that extra precaution was not taken. I don't even think she changed her gloves after running to the store. I hope the owner reads this review and maybe will take initiative to re-train employees about the importance to take extra precautions and insure the safety of the public. Both times I've been here the rude ass lady who runs the shop starts spraying and cleaning the tables and stacking the chairs up on the tables and does it in the rudest way. Guadalajara Neveria(ice cream parlor) has been there for years and I had visited in the past but I was always disappointed with the ice cream/ice pops, aguas frescas, raspados(shaved ice) etc. The flavor just wasn't there so I stopped coming......Well Let me tell you they just went through a complete remodel, they have new friendly staff and the quality of the deserts and everything they make has improved dramatically, superb, Amazing, delicious, incredible, just outstanding. During the past week we have been going here almost everyday trying something different every day and it just gets better and better. They have an incredible selection of antojitos Mexicanos(Mexican Snacks). My all time favorite is their Fresas con Crema Frescas just to die for..... so good. I recently came to pick up a doordash order & stood while 3 employees walked back and forth past the counter and no one acknowledged me for about 5 mins. Then huffed and puffed when I asked for a time estimate on the order, come to find out, they never started it. & the same lady who was working the cash register is the same person who made the order, a glove on one hand & the other hand bare, & I watched as she rings up a customer then proceeded to make the order with her hands without washing the one bare hand or switching gloves.
