I met him when he volunteered to help someone else for free. That's been years ago and I switched my business to Excelsis when I moved to Nevada a while after that because I was so impressed with his helpfulness. Since that time I've sometimes been the person getting my info to them in late March and they've heroically gotten my taxes filed by the April deadline. I recently had a a very tricky tax situation that required them to research out of state tax laws to be sure to keep me legal. They totally got me through that with complete confidence that I'm a legal beagle. I could not be happier with this company and I would never consider changing accounting firms. I've been able to email questions leading up to this last situation...starting a couple years prior...and my emails were always answered promptly and efficiently. I've gone in for impromptu consults and have never been charged. I could not be happier with this company. I am ONLY a regular client. I am not personal friends with anyone here. I was just thinking about how happy I am with them and realized I'd never written a review for them. I'm surprised they do not have many many five star reviews because I'm sure they have many happy clients who have my experience. I highly recommend that if you are shopping for a GREAT CPA you make an appointment and meet Mark and MiYoo IN PERSON and judge their character and professionalism for yourselves. Mark and his assistant MiYou screwed us over severely…read more We first met with them in January 2024 and contracted his firm to do our business and personal taxes. He asked us to file an extension (which I specifically did not want to do). In July 2024 his assistant said they were complete. I asked for a phone call, and begrudgingly, his assistant sat on the phone with me going over taxes. It was then I discovered they had not completed our personal taxes yet and wanted more time. My calls were ignored over the year. When I finally spoke on the phone with Mark on September 11th he said he would have to call me the next Monday after he checked with his assistant about the personal taxes. My calls to him were ignored again after he failed to call me that Monday. Today October 11th (taxes are due on October 15 for extended filings) after I reached out to him again, he sends me an email stating that "I presumed you had changed accountants." Once I finally got him on the phone he ended up hanging up on me twice. He blocked me out of my tax portal so I have no access to my information, left me stranded with little time to find another accountant, and blames me for "poor planning." I had all of my information to him in March so he could file by April. Do not hire this man. Save yourself all the stress. Warn your friends and family. He is demanding I pay for a service that was never complete! He was neglectful, failed to preform contacted services, and is going to cost me a lot of money in fines and lawyer fees. My experience from the first call talking to the receptionist, to the proof of concept, and the final product. I ordered a custom embroidered logo that was pretty detailed containing 7 colors. I think an average logo is 3 to 5 colors. With all the colors my Winey Munkies logo came out great! Before they took the risk of just placing the embroidery on my nice Adidas polo, I received a preliminary logo on a piece of fabric just incase there needed to be any modifications. The mock logo was great and I placed the order. A couple days later I picked up my shirt after a courtesy call from the receptionist letting me know it was complete. When I picked up my shirt all the staff was super friendly and interested in my thoughts about the final product. Finding reliable screen printer and embroiderer is not an easy task if you just go through the phone book or a Google search.
