[Note: Yelp detected my photos of the dog poop on the sidewalk the business failed to maintain via its automation software, and would not let me upload them to the business's site here, just to my own review below.] This is a real estate and commercial property management firm. Among the properties they manage are 1817 Stewart Street and 1749 Stewart Street, both on Stewart Street near North Roop Street in the same plaza actually in Carson City. There are some little known businesses there, like DeBug Computer. So why am I reviewing them? Because they have been negligent about cleaning up dog poop on the sidewalk abutting their property on North Roop Street which has interfered with the enjoyment of my walks. They are required to maintain the sidewalks abutting their property according to Carson City Public Works (I called them a few months ago to verify). Please note that by walking other sidewalks abutting their property, which, I have established a personal consumer relationship with them, and am authorized by the Yelp terms of service to leave this review. Dog poop on the property or public sidewalks maintained by Nevada Premier Properties has not been too big of a problem in the past three months. However, I notice in the past few weeks dog poop has been accumulating, and nothing has been done about. One time another pedestrian kicked the excrement out of the way, so the sidewalks were clear. But tonight there were two areas of old dog poop on the sidewalk and grass next to it outside of their fence which had been neglected. A little ways down, on the sidewalk by the next property, there were three large patches of gigantic dog poop; and they were smeared all over the sidewalk by someone stepping in it (I will review them too once I find out who owns the property). This has ruined my walks and left a bad taste in my mouth. Someone has to do something about it. I am filing complaints tomorrow. The sidewalks are unusable in this area. People are locked in their houses 24/7, and when they do go out those rare times to exercise, dog poop ruins your walk. People in Carson City can be so entitled. Carson City Public Works will have to step in and resolve the problem since I suspect the owners will continue to be negligent and blame it on the coronavirus. This is taking away the public's enjoyment. I have to walk carefully around the offending material and get all upset when I walk on this stretch of road. I have stepped in dog poop in the past, and it is not fun to remove from your sneakers. You have to use a key to remove it from your treads. And it smells and you track the smell everywhere until you can get to a sink. Disgusting! Bill or fine the owners if necessary. In New York City, if the city inspectors find any debris on your commercial sidewalk, like a crushed soda can, they will fine you without warning, even if you just swept the sidewalk that morning. I have also noticed metal signs piling up in the back of the property as well as other trash, like boxes and paper towels on the grass. I would hate to be a tenant of theirs, given how they run their properties. read more

I cannot speak for other rental managers that work for this business; however, I can speak for Angie Smith. Do not, and I repeat DO NOT LET ANGIE SMITH MANAGE YOUR PROPERTY. But, if you want your property to be neglected, she is perfect for the job! I'm unsure if she has more properties than her slim mental capacity can handle, but she has shown zero effort to maintain the few properties I know she is responsible for. Do you want something fixed on your property? You're going to have to wait a few months. Do you want a friendly/efficient property manager? Do not plan on Angie Smith being that. If you own a house or property of any kind and you've been offered help from Angie, turn and run. Best of luck. read more

I purchased a home in December of 2018. Vicki was the sellers realitor whom I knew from a previous rental. Everything went smooth until I asked for a remaining $100 owed to me from a set of blinds that were not replaced per our agreement. Vickie told my realtor there was a SouthWest Gas bill (in Nevada Premier Properties name) and if I did not pay said bill she would contact a law enforcement agency I was in backgrounds with and tell them I do not pay my bills (even thought my credit score is 800+). Vicki told me via phone conversation her boyfriend is a Captain of the law enforcement agency and she will pull strings to benefit herself. I paid the bill due to the threats and have had no further contact with Vicki. Vicki is very unprofessional and abusing her boyfriends position. Use caution when dealing with her. She may seem very nice and approachable because she is making money off you. Be ready to deal with her boyfriend if things don't go her way. She will go home and tell him. I am updating my review from almost five years ago. Nevada Premier Properties has continued its excellent management of the KB Apartments in Carson City. My comments in the 2017 review remain true and my mother-in-law who owns the building is very happy with the way the property is professionally managed and with the monthly revenue, she receives to supplement her retirement income. I would like to say, that if we didn't have Ms. Swanson help us, I wouldn't be writing this. She was referred to us by a friend. We started during the recession; looking what was available and what the realtors were going thru. We saw and looked and even missed an appointment with her. Our thoughts were over, but it wasn't! We got a call and that we needed to see this place at lunch and she said...you have to see this. I have to say, this was going over 5 months with her and we thought it was a good time to buy. With the economy and what we have seen. Nothing was out there what we were looking for. She pick us up and drove awhile and came to this beautiful home and as we walked in to it.. we said we will take it.. that fast!!! Not even seeing the kitchen!! OMG! We knew and she knew, this was for us and we have been waited for it. Bang, it happen that fast. And with her talents, and the many steps she had to do. We got it and it was everything we wanted walking in to the house. We now have been in our home for 4 years and she was right... Ms Swanson worked hard for us and even was able To handle our needs; she did not give up. Even with the up and downs; we waited as she said that we would have too. Nevada Premier Property used to manage my rental. The agent I worked with was named Angie and she did an adequate job. However, in 2015 she suggested I sell the property and she would be my agent. This was a big mistake! She listed the property in the wrong zip code and on several smaller listing sites. The photos she used were distorted and she did not bother to inform the current renters. I had to stay on top of her regarding everything. In 3 months of being listed the property was only shown once. Angie eventually no longer wanted to work with me so I found another agent who was a real go getter and made an excellent effort. The property was shown at least 5 times during the first week. We eventually had 3 offers. read more

NPP states that they will 'take care of your property' as if it was their own. I hate to see what their personal properties look like. I managed my own property remotely for 6 years, including finding good tenants and maintaining our property. I thought I would try a property management company for once. Big mistake. I trusted this company with our home that we loved and they did not provide the service they state on their website. Far from it. The home was in pristine condition 2 years prior to their selected tenants moving in. After giving the tenants 45 days notice, they moved out and our home was destroyed. We did not receive our damage deposit back from NPP. After finally getting a hold of the the head broker about our agent she said that she had sold all of her properties because 'renters were hell'. She said that all renters destroyed places when given notice. Actually not the case when I managed my own home. Actually not the case with my friend's property management company. The agent at NPP knew that these tenants were questionable and yet she said they could not visit more frequently than once a year as they could be charged with harassment. Our friend's property manager did quarterly visits and also drop ins if something was amiss - actually taking care of their property as if it was their own. After $11,000 of repairs we sold our home. We absolutely do not recommend Nevada premier properties. Heart wrenching what they allowed to happen to our home and charged us every month without providing any of the late fees they collected from our tenants as well. Crazy that they can get away with this and the tenants got away scott free as well to go and thoughtlessly destroy another home. read more
