Stay away from these people. They did a back surgery on my mom that caused her abdominal wall to collapse. The doctor wanted to act like he had no idea why she was in so much pain months after the surgery, so he did something no other doctor has ever heard of, he cut nerves out of her back. When that didn't solve the problem, she called back and was told they couldn't get her back in for 3 months, despite the pain she was reporting. She came back to that the 3 month appointment, the doctor asked why she waited so long to come if she was in all of that pain. She responded that his office couldn't get her in any sooner. His response "well, I am a busy man." He looked her over through up his hands said I am not sure what to tell you. My mom has been in pain every day since that surgery. I watched her live a life of misery, basically bed ridden. You dont fix an abdominal wall colapse... The procedure used to enter her back wasnt common, supposedly only only a number of surgeons can perform it, the doctor entered from the side of her stomach. He attentively listens and thoughtfully responds to questions, which is essential when working with people like myself who experience chronic pain and will never be "healed." What distinguishes him from other specialists is that he strives to find ways to help his patients instead of dismissing people's concerns. While I would obviously prefer not to need him, knowing he is available and highly qualified to help you is reassuring. read more

If I could give this facility a ZERO, I would. Unfortunately, you have to put at least one star. Today was my first time visiting Neurospinal Associates, after looking for a doctor to properly educate me on what could have been causing my severe debilitating spinal issues. After years of other unresolved medical issues and other traumatic personal experiences that caused me to put my own needs aside, I finally was able to secure someone to see me and to include in my report to Social Security. Unfortunately, Dr. Michael S. Park, not only provided the worst office setting care, but disregarded my medical needs, raised his voice at me when I asked questions about the previous scan findings, belittled me, told me that he was too busy for me and I was taking his time because he was backed up, but had only taken 2 minutes with me. His whole facial demeanor was uncaring and money-hungry. He told me that he did not want to do surgery on me, to which I responded that I was not there to immediately discuss surgery but to get his professional opinion on the findings of my scans and other medical history. The last straw for me, was when explaining the symptoms and scans I had questions on, he grabbed the spine sample and very rudely explained while reminding me that he was backed up and had no time for me. PLEASE, if you go to this practice, make sure this is NOT the doctor you see. I saw other doctors bring out their patients, who seemed very caring. This opinion is based solely on my personal experience with Dr. Michael S. Park doctor in this practice. It does not reflect the whole practice. A good back surgeon is probably the most important relationship when talking aging spines. Dr Michael King is one of the most caring Doctors I have ever met. And I met a LOT of them. I wish all Doctors were as disciplined as Dr. Michael King is! Also, he is actually not surgery happy. He will exhaust all avenues before he determines surgery. If you do need surgery - he is THE BEST! Clean office, no wait, and yes they take Covid seriously - so no packed waiting rooms for that reason. I found him because he had the best credentials when I began a month long search. I was able to get right in. Dr. Michael King also appears to have several admission rights to local hospitals - which is not easy to come by. I think they have to do a lot of Emergency Room service to get that status! read more

If every medical office, lab, imaging center were run as efficiently as this, with staff as welcoming, and time left in each day for emergencies, the world would be a better place. Dr. King is thorough; I never felt rushed but he didn't waste time, either. The whole experience, from making my appointment to the actual exam, was a pleasure. What a great experience I had with Neurospinal Associates! I had to have a synovial cyst removed from my L4-L5 region. Dr. Tiesi did an amazing job on my back surgery. I followed the aftercare instructions, and within two weeks my nerve pain was gone, and by Week 4 I felt like a million bucks! In August of 2019 Dr. Philip Tally of Neurospinal Associates in Bradenton performed a corpectomy on my wife (mid 30s). The decision to have the surgery performed was based on Dr. Tally's recommendation after reviewing an X-Ray and other tests. At the time, my wife was experiencing a lot of pain and tingling feelings and was losing strength in her arms. We were told the surgery went well by Dr. Tally. It took several weeks for my wife to heal well enough to move around. She was also instructed to wear a neck brace for 12 weeks which she did faithfully. Unfortunately, the paid did not go away. We went back for follow exams several times. Each time we got new X-Rays and were told "It will just take a while until the benefits of the surgery are realized". We were told this could take up to a year. It has not been 13 months since her surgery and she has never been in more pain. Her tingling is worse then ever and she is losing more strength in her arms. She was told by Dr. Tally to get more X-Rays with different views. She did this and had the results sent to the office. Neurospinal Associates has had the results for over a week and we were told Dr. Tally has not reviewed them yet. Every time we call we are told he is in surgery and he will review the results when we has time. Recent Timeline: 09/07 - We were told Dr. Philip Tally was in Surgery and he would take a look at them tomorrow 09/09 - We were told Dr. Philip Tally was in Surgery again the results are on his desk and he would review them when he has a second 09/14 - We were told Dr. Philip Tally is in surgery again and that he would also be in surgery tomorrow 09/15 Not only did the surgery performed by Dr. Philip Tally of Neurospinal Associates result in additional paid and discomfort, he will not take time to review requested results. The staff at Neurospinal Associates said Dr. Tally is a trauma surgeon and that he often gets called in to perform surgeries with urgency. While I understand AND respect this, if he doesn't have time for follow-up with his current elective-surgery clients, he shouldn't schedule them. TDLR; Choose a doctor who doesn't overbook themselves. Get a 2nd and 3rd opinion before allowing Dr. Tally to perform any surgery. If you DO decide to have a surgery performed by Dr. Philip Tally, have a back-up plan and fall back ready to go. I suggest scheduling follow-ups with OTHER doctors ahead of time since there is usually a several month wait for new patients. read more

Dr Tally was there for me 3 yrs ago with a TBI, suffered from a bad motorcycle accident without a helmet. I was sure I would never speak clearly or with cognoscente ever again, but I am alive and I was fortunate to have Dr Tally to care for me. My brain is in tact and I have speech and memory back and continue to practice skills to maintain both. My mother also saw Dr Tally for residual nerve pain associated with post shingles. He recommended a topical that is working well, and she is grateful for Dr Tally's profound wisdom that a number of doctors she has already seen, never suggested before.
