There isn't any reason for a representative of a business to treat their customers the way I was treated even with the insurance provider listening. Thankfully the insurance provider said they would file a complaint and we intend to file an official complaint with the State of Florida. The owners of this business need to take disciplinary action with this employee and her manager, Linda, who both feel it's better to hang up on you rather than calmly and rationally answer your question. Thankfully the insurance provider has an audio recording should anyone ask to listen. We will not use this business again for any medical procedure. Totally unacceptable behavior from people paid to answer your questions.

Dr. Mallery and all of her staff are, without fail, compassionate, caring, patient in answering questions and ready to explain everything. The first time I went to their office for an extraction, my trauma had me terrified. I'm sure I was not a "good patient" by any stretch of the imagination. However, I was never made to feel bad about my fears. I was met with deep compassion and empathy and was given all the support I needed to get through the procedure. Dr. Mallery has been my dentist since Sept. 2025 even though I live near Chattanooga, TN, a two-day drive (for us in our 70's) from Bradenton. Back in Aug. 2025 I had a crown done by a dentist in Chattanooga. Two and a half weeks later I was in terrible pain & the Chattanooga dentist "could not" see me for over a week. I found another local dentist who took me on an emergency basis. He told me the root had been damaged while removing the old mercury filling & the root was dying--thus the horrendous pain. He said I needed a root canal. I knew enough to know that I did NOT want a root canal. I started researching them online and found the wonderful, informative website at White Sands. It confirmed that I did not want a root canal! I also discovered, from watching the video of SMART mercury amalgam removal, that the Chattanooga dentist had NOT by any stretch of the imagination used safe technique to remove my large filling--even though I asked her repeatedly about it. Instead, what she did released a lot of mercury into my body. On a whim, I called White Sands to ask some questions about amalgam fillings. Lucas answered, and he was so kind and informative. He told me that they could get me in within a few days if I could come down. Rather than start cold-calling dentists in Atlanta to see if one could see me, I accepted the appointment. Dr. Mallery had planned to see me on Tuesday, give me more antibiotics to keep me going, then remove the molar on Friday when there was room in the schedule. As soon as she examined me on Tuesday, she told me the tooth needed to be extracted immediately and she would make it happen the next morning. Based on my excellent experience that time, my husband and I have chosen to return to Dr. Mallery to have my 7 other mercury amalgam fillings removed. We have completed two trips and will return for the final fillings to be removed next month. I am extremely grateful to have found Dr. Mallery and her team at White Sands Holistic Dentistry. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

I should have known there was a problem because the office called at least three times with openings trying to move my scheduled appointment to earlier days etc. my guess is others have suffered and won't go back either.

The ER has a lot of regulations that don't really make sense - for example they have to push you in a wheel chair even if you are able to walk! I wasn't a big fan on that. It did take a bit of time for a Dr to read the results of the scan and follow up, but I was provided with some sandwiches and a nurse checked in on me. The level of care was fairly quick and professional and I had full confidence in the medical team. I was impressed. They took a copay and have not heard anything more about billing (yet).

I had been suffering from groin pain for three years and had been diagnosed with bilateral inguinal hernias and told to schedule surgery by a general surgeon in my home state. I began to research the procedure and specialists who offer no- mesh as an option in the right situation. The reviews that I read for Dr Yunis as well as his credentials caught my eye. His practice is solely focused on hernia surgeries but he is also a board certified vascular surgeon. I called the office and spoke with Melanie, his nurse administrator. Melanie was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. She educated me and answered my questions generously, even giving me questions to ask if I sought care elsewhere. She offered a phone consult or in-person visit at my convenience. I called a couple more times over the next two years with more questions and each time she was equally helpful and pleasant as was Rhonda, who scheduled my appointment. I delayed visiting due to Covid and distance but the pain increased and was limiting my activity so I finally made the trip earlier this month. I met with Melanie and Dr Yunis. Both of them took their time to ask me questions and help me. Dr. Yunis exudes keen intelligence and kindness. He listened intently to my history, examined me and pretty quickly surmised that it was likely my hip causing my problems and pain. He offered referrals and help with imaging. Luckily my husband has great orthopedic connections, and I had an mri a week after returning home that revealed my previously healthy hip now had moderate to severe osteoarthritis with a bone spur and degenerative labral tear! A week later, I have just gotten a steroid injection and am already walking more normally with greatly reduced pain! I hope I can avoid hip replacement, but I am certainly glad I did not opt to have hernia surgery at my local hospital! It would not have helped my hip pain and may have caused other issues. I am so thankful I made the trip for an in-person consult at The Center for Hernia Repair. I would absolutely choose Dr. Yunis if I actually did need hernia repair and I am incredibly grateful for his astute preliminary diagnosis of my pain. After three years of suffering, I saw Dr Yunis and within three weeks- my limp is gone, my mind is clear from pain and I understand what is going in in my body! Melanie even called when I was back home to see if I needed anything. He and his staff are wonderful. They are truly experts in their field, kind, transparent and helpful. I felt cared for and I am so deeply grateful. I highly recommend them.
