He didn't get back until 530 and still didn't have the parts needed. He left the water off this whole time. When he said he was done he showed me the valve leaking still and upon further inspection the next day, the 2 other valves were also leaking now. When I asked how much I owed him, he said let's just say 220.00! He told me he was charging me for his time running around looking for the valve parts. He also mentioned he went home for lunch for part of that time. Needless to say I didn't pay this guy 220.00. Be careful when doing business with this company. I could see him taking advantage of people for jobs that never were completed. I chose this company because of the yelp reviews but hopefully this will make people at least be careful.

I called Butte Landscaping and Tom said, sure we'll look into it ... he came out Thursday afternoon to assess the situation, said he'd be back Friday ... and he was ... they had to saw through the sidewalk and move the excised piece (intact) and replaced the broken pipes, rerouting them for easier access in case something happened later on ... he replaced the slab that was cut and all was again happy in our household ... after all the trouble trying to get anyone to do anything here we were well pleased with Tom and his crew and their quick response to our problem ...

Mike's Yard Care was supposed to fix a leak in the sprinkler system of the house we bought. The…read moreprevious owner had paid them and they were supposed to fix it. After we moved in, I found there was still a leak, so Mike's, who had been paid to fix it, was called to come back out and fix it. Mike came out and looked at it and promised to come back the next day and fix it. He did not show up. A few days later I texted him and he said that he forgot about me. He then promised to come fix it "in a day or two." Several days later he did send a guy out to dig a little around the box. That guy said that his boss would be out the next day to fix it. He didn't show and he didn't call or text. After 3 or 4 days I sent him a text. His reply after stringing me along for two weeks was, "Sorry for the inconvenience, you are going to have to find someone else." I was and still am incredulous. I cannot imagine anybody treating customers that way, let alone walking away from a job like that. I did find an excellent company who came out and did the job, no thanks to Mike's. One star is too high, I wish there was an option for zero stars for Mike's Yard Sevice. They are terrible, DO NOT hire Mike's Yard Care for anything.

I agreed to show up 8/27/18. I worked 2 days for Mike Robbins the owner at Lawns R US on 8/27-8/28/2018. I was never paid for my work as an employee of his on supposed payroll. It's been almost 3 months, No check or mailed paycheck or phone call to come pick it up. I left after 2 days of work because of how he talked to his employees and he didn't believe his 4 employees telling him that the driver didn't hit anything. I also got bad vibes when I didn't receive any paperwork to sign about starting wages and job title. I wasn't going to keep working for someone who verbally said $12 an hour and not produce paper trail. Now I have to file a claim with labor board because my stomach feeling was right to quit my job at lawns r us. So after posting a review Mike magically found my number to issue my wages. Took almost 3 months. He said the check got returned with no evidence and put different working dates.

While on a bike ride, I happened across a Chico Septic and Sewer Truck parked in front of a home nearby. I introduced myself to the young man working the project named Chad and asked him if he would be able to take a look at my septic tank and give me an evaluation. He took down my address and phone number and about an hour later texted me and told me he was at our home inspecting the tank. I met him there and he gave me a complete evaluation, basically saying that everything was OK that he had checked. There was no charge for the inspection and I felt badly because I wanted to give him some cash, but we don't keep any around the house. Instead, I'm writing this evaluation, hoping that they get all of the business that they deserve given their professionalism and willingness to help out. I will definitely use them when the time calls for it. Highly recommend!
