Its been one of the tenants in the building since that section of the plaza was built. Its a pretty clean, owner-operated Laundromat, with lots of newer equipment, including large capacity washing machines. I like how they have machines to make change, and an on-site ABM. Having moved back to the GTA after working in Quebec, one of the big surprises I experienced was the cost of doing coin laundry. In Quebec it cost me $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry. Here its costing me $5.00 to wash and $5.00 to dry. Last night I spent $20 washing and drying two loads of towels. Their driers are electric, I think that the gas ones are capable of drying faster They also have a wash and fold service, which is charged by weight. I weighed my towels upon going home and discovered that it would have been cheaper for me to pay them the $15 min charge to wash all of my towels Service level, site, location, and staff are all a-ok. Its the price why I'm pushing this to 3 stars.

While I was showing the zipper to the man he asked me if anyone has ever told me that I'm stunning. I ignored his comment and kept talking about the zipper. He informed me that the lady who does those repairs would not be in until 5 but we could fill out the paperwork. Then, to my surprise, he said "ouuu, I wish I could just bend you over right now..." I didn't say anything because I was so shocked and embarrassed and I just wanted to leave. He asked me to leave my name and number so the lady could get back to me, I left a fake number only because I wasn't sure if he would take it for his own personal use since he was so bold to say what he said and I grabbed my jacket and left. I will never step foot in this establishment ever again and I don't even want to walk past the door that's how uncomfortable he made me feel. That is sexual harassment and it should not be taken lightly.

Faced with a few different options, we settled on Suds - and I'm glad we did. I've walked by this place so many times that I almost forgot it existed. Going inside, you're greeted with a massive number of options. The front desk allows you to buy per-load detergent or softener, including a couple of variants like Oxi-Clean (obligatory shout-out to my boy Billy Mays). There are approximately 25 dryers and 20 washers, with the latter costing anywhere from $3.50 - $8 (for large loads like comforters and bedding). There's a "valet" service where you can pay about $20 to have one of the employees handle your laundry on-site, with a note put on some washers for customers to pick up their stuff. We found the process to be straightforward and easy. There's a change machine on-site that dispenses coins for $5, 10 or 20 bills. Despite the note on the machine, it doesn't dispense tokens. The dryers are relatively cheap, and it pays (literally) to go during some weeknights, as it's half-price per 10 minutes of drying time. The place was a hive of activity on the Sunday I went, with most being older residents - the exception being the temptress employee who looked way too young and walked around doing laundry in a halter top and low-cut shorts while stealing glances. Your charms don't fool me. If I have a criticism of this place, it's the parking out back. While there is parking, it's not immediately noticeable from the street, and we had a car who parked in a tight spot beside our vehicle when there was a whole row of empty spots on the other side (albeit marked with "Reserved" signs. That said, there's a lot to love. One 30-minute wash cycle is good enough for most loads, and 30 minutes of dryer time is adequate. The site is easy to access (it even has wheelchair-accessibility), and everyone is generally friendly. Suds is well worth visiting in a pinch, and I can see why it's been a mainstay of the Port Credit community for so long. Recommended.
