Went back to see if I could get an older laptop running. Problem solved again. Great service, super fast repairs, great price.

STAY AWAY from ComputerRocks in Murfreesboro…read more Upon my arrival, there was a woman at the desk who was very upset. From what I could gather, she was being charged more than what she was quoted. I basically ignored it, but my how I wish I would have turned around. First, I need to mention that I dealt with different people throughout the entire process. 1 gentleman at drop-off, another gentleman on the phone who had very broken english, and 2 teenage boys when I picked up the laptops. I had an issue with 2 of my laptops. First, I was told it was probably a hard drive issue with one, and corrupted RAM on the other (which I recently upgraded). I was told and signed for a $20.00 diagnostic fee that would be waived if I completed the repair. I was never given labor rates throughout the entire process. I was called a couple days later and informed that both of the hard drives were bad and it would cost $150.00 for one laptop, and $100.00 for the other. I was told they were both going to be replaced with 1tb hard drives. I gave him the go ahead thinking this was the cost to repair them. (Again, I was never quoted labor rates) Both of my laptops originally had 1tb hard drives and they were both replaced with (much) smaller (SSD) hard drives which are faster, but not near the same capacity. One day later when the repairs were completed, I was called was then informed that I was being charged $300.00 per laptop. I was not happy and let him know that I didn't agree with this. I told him that I would be coming by shortly to go over the details. When I arrived, there were 2 teenagers (13 or 14 years old) working the desk. I felt that they were there for a reason. It was known that I was upset and that I was coming in. I was then informed that the previous charges of $300.00 per laptop was not including tax. I informed that I wasnt going to pay that much. The teens ended up calling the original person who quoted me $150.00, and $100.00. He did cut the price down about $80.00. So, I ended up paying $534.00 and some change I have to bring up that I was being charged over $100.00 in labor for each laptop, and one of the laptops has an easy access panel on the underside. It literally has 1 little screw and the entire back comes off revealing the hard drive, graphics/video card, fans, RAM, etc. Once I arrived home, one of the laptops had a prompt that stated the Hard drive wasn't installed. I removed the back cover and noticed the connections were loose. So I basically pushed them in a little harder. They also rounded off 2 of the 4 screws holding down the hard drive. I also noticed that the hard drive that was installed looked somewhat cheap and felt that way as well. I did a little research and found that it could be purchased on amazon for $50.00, and I was charged $150.00 for it. I also decided to check out the old hard drives and see if I could possibly use them for additional storage, and low and behold, they both work just fine. So, now I am wondering why they were replaced at all. It seems that I was charged what, 125% mark up on the hard drives that I didn't need. I also feel that I was being told those were the issue, while the true issue may have been much simpler and cheaper. Needless to say, I am not enthused and I feel like I was scammed. I should have went with my gut on this one.

To: Whom it May Concern…read more I have had multiple issues with Hp Instant Ink as well as Hp All in Plan. I have spoken to several representatives since speaking with Kevin through All in Plan yesterday to cancel my "subscription". He informed me if I did not receive an email with the QR Code or a return label after the plan was cancelled. I could call back and speak with a "manager" to process the return label ""manually" for a QR Code. However, in speaking with several reps and FEDEX in person, i.e.- a manager and a FEDEX rep in person as well as via phone. I was told either HP the "shipper" is refusing to send me a return label and setting me up to pay the $345.00 fee. I have overly expressed to everyone why I have cancelled my subscription and no one is resolving my issues still to get the printer back to HP in the correct time frame before the ten day window. I have been placed on hold with several people and still no one is helping to send me a return label/QR Code. I am still waiting to receive and now the last three reps informed me my case was going to be "escalated" and "delayed" more. Which I think is not correct and I should be able to get the QR Code processed manually as indicated on your website as well. I continue to receive obstacles to get the printer back that came to me "late". I was falsely informed about how the HP All in Plan works and still with no resolution as of 12/9/25. I need a QR Code as promised by previous REP- Kevin last night under case#5152830051 when the subscription was cancelled. He noted my account with the same information provided on the "recorded" call with Salvador just now as well. So, why is everyone else telling me something different over the phone today and saying it will take SEVEN DAYS to process a QR CODE or until December 12, 2025. If the product is supposed to be returned by December 19, 2025 to avoid a $345.00 charge!!!!!!. It can be inputted manually through the HP Smart APP per Kevin in the HP All in Plan last night. So, Can someone expedite and send me the QR Code as soon as possible. I am TRYING TO RETURN THE PRINTER THAT HAS NOT BEEN OPENED. IT CAME TO ME LATE and I have not been able to PRINT THIS ENTIRE TIME OR TAKE CARE OF MY BUSINESS STUFF PRIOR TO THE DELIVERY LATE LAST NIGHT. Again, I am trying to return the product printer back to FEDEX..... FEDEX informed me the QR Code could be generated within a matter of minutes or sent to my phone directly. You all can not LEGALLY force or refuse to send me the QR CODE. I do not understand why after being a ten year loyal HP customer I am receiving this type of treatment through HP All in Plan or HP Instant Ink Services from HP directly. Per Kevin, it was only supposed to take 24 hours!!!!!!
