I'm so glad that we have Nordstrom's in the Roseville Galleria. Their alterations department does…read moreexcellent work, and an excellent job taking up the sleeves on a jacket, and replacing the shoulder pads under the liner was perfect. The seamstress, Sharon, came out upon my request to make sure the jacket fit right, and gave excellent advice on other alterations I may need in the future. Sharon was so awesome, and sweet. Staff were so helpful, and would actually help search for an item I'm asking for. It doesn't matter where it might be in the store. They take the time to find what you need. Today, Jaleh and Berbel were both very helpful. Their assistance is so appreciated. Fale, in the shoe department was also very helpful, and knew which shoes to bring to me, that I needed for a special event. He listened intently as I described the clothing I needed to match, and made it so easy for me to purchase a couple of pairs. Christine, in cosmetics, is awesome too. She is so helpful in selecting the skin care products I needed, especially while I am dealing with health issues that have affected my skin. Even if it's not in the line she works with, she'll find what works best for me. I have not found any other store that comes close to the customer care I've found at Nordstrom's.

I didn't need one myself, but you can schedule a free 30 minute bra fitting appointment online. I could hear consultations happening in the fitting rooms from staff that sounded knowledgeable & friendly. I wanted to try a certain brand that they sell here. The department was nicely organized. I was approached by Alyanna who offered assistance. She retrieved my size from the stock room when I couldn't find it on the racks. She also set me up with a fitting room & checked on me to see how it was going. She rang me up & wrapped my purchases nicely. She was very personable & helpful the whole time without feeling pushy or intrusive.

I just wish she could hear all the wonderful compliments! Next we took a shopping trip. Wow! I feel like I have a store in my closet & am having a great time wearing all these new outfits! Carrie was great for picking out things that really looked right on me. I think of all the times I have bought things only to wear them once or twice. I have a great wardrobe now thanks to Carrie!

Carrie was recommended to me by a friend who utilizes her services. The first step was my closet. It was like a nice version of, "what not to wear". I'm not hopeless in choosing clothes but I also was struggling with the fact that I had lost a lot of weight and my clothes didn't fit properly. The closet experience with Carrie was amazing and she took the opportunity to explain to me why something did or didn't work for me and how I can make the style my own. We donated clothes that didn't work and altered other clothes. Now, I can reach in my closet and everything fits nicely. Later that week, we went shopping together. I'm actually a great shopper for other people but I can never find things that I like for myself. As we shopped, She took the time to explain what to look for (colors, patterns, styles) and what I should avoid. I ended up saving a lot of money and time in the end and Carrie kept me under budget. The best part is that I don't wake up every morning and say, "I have nothing to wear today."

Adj: Marvelous Mall, Superb Shopping…read more Westfield Galleria at Roseville is my favorite shopping mall in the greater Sacramento area. There aren't that many malls in our metro, so we don't have many choices, shopping plazas yes, but malls, no. I grew up going to malls a lot for fun (window and for reals) shopping, for hanging out with my cousins and friends, and I have lots of great memories from all the fun I had at different malls, mostly Arden Fair and Florin Mall, but sadly there's not a lot of malls left. Westfield Galleria at Roseville is by far the nicest in our region so I enjoy coming here. The mall itself is huge, it spans a couple of blocks. No matter which end of the mall you start at, you'll make your way through. The parking can be quite challenging on a weekend, but if you're willing to park up higher in the parking structure or out in the sun, you'll find parking more easily. There's also EV charging for a fee for those w/electric vehicles. There's something for everyone here, from the large dept stores like Macy's and Nordstrom that anchor the mall, to the food court with all the delicious mall foods, snacks, and drinks, to clothing stores, home goods stores, sporting goods, to Daiso, there are so many choices and so many interesting things to look at and try. There are even luggage stores and seasonal (holidays) stores. For those who don't care to acquire more stuff, you can have some pretty fun experiences here as there's the movie theatres and arcades so it's something else you can do rather than just shop and eat. My kids enjoy all the toy stores and when they were little, they loved playing on the Kaiser sponsored kids indoor play structure, which is a great place for some rest for parents and for kids to burn off some energy and get out their wiggles if they're getting restless (or uninterested) in the shopping experience. Overall, Westfield Galleria at Roseville remains a clean, spacious, and well-maintained shopping mall and I hope it stays that way and continues to see new additions to offer different stores and more facilities improvements and updates.

Disabled customers are clearly not welcome at the Westfield Galleria or the Fountains…read more Based on current statistics, approximately 40-45% of Americans live with some form of disability. Yet only a small percentage are wheelchair users, meaning millions of people live with "invisible disabilities" that are routinely ignored by developers, property owners, and even code enforcement agencies that continue approving projects without meaningful accessibility. At these shopping centers, there appear to be more EV charging spaces than accessible parking spaces. During repeated visits, I often found only a couple of handicap spaces near major entrances, forcing disabled shoppers to circle parking lots or park long distances away. I have also encountered extremely heavy, non-ADA-compliant doors that are difficult and painful to open. When concerns are raised, the response from some businesses is simply to "enter through the mall," which requires disabled individuals to walk even farther just to access a store. That is not equal access. For the many shoppers living with disabilities -- including those with mobility limitations, neurological conditions, chronic pain, balance disorders, and other invisible disabilities -- the experience here often feels exclusionary rather than welcoming. Accessibility should not be treated as an afterthought or an inconvenience
