All three of us came away with stories to tell. Everything from the back office to the bus service is weak, communication is poor and outdated and to top it off the owner has a million reasons why it's some else's fault. ('My staff' 'The bus company') We're lucky to have so many great camps in our area. This one didn't work for us.

I was scouting around for a reasonable, productive and small(er) summer camp. After hours of calling around to other local camps that were too expensive and full to capacity with waitlists, I came across Legacy on google and submitted a Registration form. I received a call from Mr. Edison who was very informative, professional and welcoming. He was also very interested in knowing my son's interests, personality and hobbies. The prices are VERY affordable for all financial budgets, they accept several different forms of payment including cash. Legacy has a fun, busy and educational summer camp but also continues to expand with other programs within the camp. They utilize the summer months and every hour to its fullest; 3 days out of the week were field trips, super hot days were "wet days" (park hopping with sprinklers), chuck E Cheese trips (board games, musical chairs, tablets and summer homework) on rainy and the list goes on. My son loves this camp. Since then his cousin and sister began attending as well when they were of age and they all love it and the Staff (Especially Ms. CeCe). PS - They also offer a soccer program and now afterschool for selected charter school location in Harlem.

We have seen our daughter literally grow up at Play On!, from her first after school class at age four to participating on the Saturday musical theater program and numerous one week summer camps. We keep going for more. The teachers are caring, thoughtful, and true champions of all of the children in class. They give their all, always.

Our one-year-old has been enrolled since late-2020 and in just a short amount of time, we've seen so much growth that we directly attribute to her days at KA! From increased language and physical skills to the importance they place on teaching patience, sharing, and independence, our little one is thriving. Paige, Cristal, and now Anissa make such a meaningful effort to reinforce values that will help our kiddo develop, both emotionally and mentally. They've also helped us with several big growth milestones and transitions. The teamwork and communication is really helpful. Beyond the educational benefits, KA is unfussy and grounded -- sometimes a rare find in lower Manhattan. Everyone we've met is empathetic and supportive without coddling; there is structure without rigidity. We were immediately attracted to their leveled, non-reactive approach to big emotions. There are also toys, dolls, and books that represent everyone! And, probably most importantly for a bunch of babies and toddlers, they make the days FUN. Fun art projects, music and dancing, gym and outdoor time, water play, books galore -- June is WIPED at the end of the day and sleeps like a rock at home. We couldn't be happier! Thank you for working so hard during this difficult and trying time.

Unfortunately we moved away from Manhattan recently and so had to move on. He has been asking to come back all the time for Ms Julia and others. The place is well run. It is priced very competitively. You are also kept up to date on any plans, policies, changes etc. The place is clean (back when you could go inside it), they keep individual items well segregated as well. They have an awesome gym room for the kids to play around in. During my kid's time here he learned to talk, learned his abcs, numbers, saying sentences, was potty trained, and well socialized with lots of other kids. Our profile. We are a working couple so needed something that is flexible, well located, and low drama where we could get excellent care. Kiddie @ Tribeca fit those needs well. We will forever be grately and have fond memories of our time there.

First, my daughter had complete anxiety because of the way the instructors treat the students. They are mean and do not form a place that is conducive to learning a new skill and one that is supposed to be fun. This sentiment is not mine alone but that of a multitude of parents, yet for fear of ramifications they do not speak up! I persisted in her attending because I am a mom that holds her child accountable to a commitment. Second, there is ZERO communication by the owners to the patrons. I am a working mom who relies on a nanny to bring my child for classes. No emails are sent on re-registration. This is unacceptable. I guess this establishment only caters to their own kind and refuses to move along with current methods of customer service and experience. Plenary of other options that don't have inefficient, rude staff. I will be taking my business elsewhere and encourage you to think twice before sending your child here!

Instructor proceeded to get in a fight with me, telling me my version of events was 'impossible'. Rather than admit any kind of responsibility for the miscommunication, they blamed it all on me. I asked for a refund of January and promptly left. No understanding or flexibility here!! Just plain rudeness. We're not coming back and have lived a block away for ten+ years.

SHORT REVIEW: FIVE STARS…read more This is our second "semester" with Robofun and it is a great haven for children where they learn many skills for their future. LONGER REVIEW: I recently attended a tech event which focused on the future of AI and Big Data. When someone asked a big data person from IBM: "What are the important skills that children need today?" he replied: "Empathy, Teamwork, Aesthetics and Creativity" These are all of the things that Robofun provides for my daughter. At first glance it looks like the kids are just having fun but the work that the children do teaches them skills that they can apply to their future selves. The founder, Laura Hart, is a graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Education and she genuinely cares about children and what's best for them. She's also a nice person so naturally her staff and teachers are great at what they do. They care for the kids and teach them skills in a way that helps build the children's confidence and create really unique projects. I usually get pretty bored at summer camp presentations but at RoboFun, when the children presented their work, I was so impressed with the robots they created where they coded, how some composed music, how they worked closely with their teammates, and proudly presented their projects. This is an excellent learning environment for my children and they cannot wait to attend every day! FIVE STARS

I signed up for a 45 minute session, and my instructor, Mimi Hilarie cancelled on me the morning off. When I rescheduled, I walked into the school with the lights off behind the glass for check in and instead was surrounded by kids and teenagers running the place. With all respect to the teenagers and students holding down the fort, the experience is stressful and awful for a new student not knowing where to go. I was late to my lesson despite being there early because no room was listed in the confirmation email and there was no way of checking when you get there. I had to flag one of the student that was buzzing people in to help.
