There's tables full of tools and merchandise and bins of fasteners and they'll cut keys for you and I've even purchased gardening tools here but they just might be functional souvenirs from the coolest gift shop ever ;-) Really, there's spare parts and fluids and coatings in wall cubbies for things that were old when Moses was young; an amazing array of scythes, buck-saws, and other implements of indeterminate age but obviously well used and cared for as you would expect in these surroundings.

The Hydrangea plant i ordered arrived on March 19th. Pic my sis sent me didn't look great; stems were sparse, like some had been cut out...there was string around all the stems and ribbon was sad looking. I did not say anything because she was happy. I visited 16 days later, and saw it...it was totally dead...every part of it. My sister said she watered it. Roots were all over the dirt...but i'd never see a plant so D-E-A-D. I chose not to make a fuss when visiting and today, my first day back i lodged a complaint. I attempted to get either a new plant sent or reimbursed. I spoke w/McKenzie (not the owner) but got a call back from some gal (Owner?) who said she could neither reimburse or replace because of their policy. Apparently, one has 24 hrs. from order/arrival to complain or eat it. So, yeah, choose another florist.

The shop is a house and sits off the road a few feet so you may not think it's a business, but it's there. She introduced us to the furniture designers/creators and we got to see some live work in progress-they were also friendly and awesome! I have a small custom project and this will be my first place to discuss it once I've firmed it up a bit more. What a refreshing experience!!
