I like to pop into Nespresso boutiques when I'm traveling because sometimes I can find limited edition pods that are sold out in the States. I was happy to see that this location has a sampling bar, and I was excited to try two of the holiday blends. It was busy when I visited, so I had to wait about 10 minutes or so to get a shot of espresso. The employees were very friendly, and seemed relieved that I was kind in return (seriously, they even have signs posted around that basically say "don't be a jerk to the workers here"). I don't know about you, but I'm never going to complain about getting a free shot of espresso! They don't have a lot of sweetener options, but they WILL give you a splash of milk or oatmilk in your coffee. I enjoyed my espresso shot and bought a couple of sleeves. They also had a nice display of all the newest Nespresso machines, which are always fun to browse. This is a nice place to stop in if you'd like to try a Nespresso coffee free of charge! read more

This is a beautiful store. Such a shame that the staff is so rude when ai was there the only employee that actually greeted me and said hello was the younger gentleman that was doing the samples I did not get a sample but he did go out of his way to greet me. say hello and be pleasant I honestly think that I was unconvincing the woman who waited on me by purchasing nearly 200 pods Perhaps they are instructed NOT to smile?? read more

This branch of Nespresso is a rather large location - it is located on Regent Street. Unlike most larger stores Nespresso have - it does not have a Cafe area but it does have a testing area and discovery area, the latter is not signposted at all - where you can try various coffees from Nespresso using the machines and getting a demo - generally you can get a pretty good deal and it is never worth paying outright full-price for one, you can literally get a machine for just a couple of pounds if you enter a binding contract to buy so many couples a month for so long depending on the machine - and if you're going to buy a Nespresso machine anyway, of course, you're going to buy them and want to drink Nespresso coffee. The staff, in general, seemed friendly and I was talked about the new flavours, which was an Australian Summer Collection - ironically this was launched in the UK summer which is winter over there. It came as an iced flat white and I could have caramel syrup to it, they did sell little bottles of syrup but they were overpriced compared to buying a larger bottle due to it being a gift-set. I was confused with the system, originally asking about the samples of the new product I was told to go to the Discovery desk which wasn't signposted like the rest of the store - I don't know why they didn't do it in the tasting area - surely this would be better? My drink was good, however, albeit pretty watery - the huge ice cubes (it felt like they'd scraped them off the Antartic) made it difficult to stir the caramel into the drink - surely they could have done this before? A nice, large store in central London - Nespresso Boutique did impress me in terms of selection - and in most regards for service and quality to warrant a four-star rating. read more

Wish we had these in the states! We do have boutiques but they're more of like a specialty boutique within a bigger store (like Bloomie's, Willliams-Sonoma or Sur la Table). I have yet to find a free standing one stateside. How is it possible we can go to London, where EVERYTHING is more expensive, but our visit to Nespresso would be cheaper than it was to buy coffee in the states. And we didn't have to pay for shipping. I will be seeking out a boutique very soon to see if it holds true over here as well. Love the Tasting Bar. Nespresso has released a few additions to their permanent Grand Cru collection and to be able to try before we buy was great. We'lve tried some of their other special releases and it's 50/50 as to whether we'll both like it. This way we could find one we loved and actually agreed on to add to our collection rather than ordering and hoping for the best. The Nespresso shop on Regent Street is the flagship boutique for Europe. The store is enormous and has a very spacious floor-plan. As a Nespresso owner, I was invited to join them in a private training event at the store in the evening. I love the coffee tasting bar. They featured the new limited edition Cafezinho do Brazil . This place could be so good! The decor and style is there and the Tasting Boutique looks fantastic. The service from the staff is also fantastic, friendly, helpful and sophisticated. However all this was totally ruined by the lack of staff which meant the queues were long. The queues were also long at the tasting boutique, probably because it did not have enough seating. As a result I did not bother try it. The irony is that the Tasting Boutique only took up about 15% of the floor space, 60% of floor space is devoted to displays which were practically empty with no one looking at them. They may think it is a sales thing to have this display area, but almost nobody was using it. As a result the three stars is because it is a convenient place to buy Nespresso capsules. However if it did not have the long queues, I would travel there specifically and do other things, but the long queues has put me off from doing anything more there. If it were not for the queues, this place would be five stars. read more

A VERY BAD TASTE i advise anyone who likes coffee to go to the john lewis concession At the picadilly branch a bored french man ushered me to the tasting area--although i had questions about which machine+pods interested me. an oriental lady did a "hard sell"on telling me no one wants original pods when the virtuo are so much better+made one to "prove " it the french man ran over+yelled you can't have more than 3 samples" i had not asked even for 3!--it was very embarrassing!perhaps the store fills up with people just free-loading on coffee then the lady said "you buy this one right now!" it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience to be treated rudely and unprofessionally for no good reason perhaps it is best to stay with bean to cup experience+jura machines read more

I dropped in here for a quick (free) espresso as I was in the area for work. It's not necessarily a cafe as they are a retail store however, you can go to the coffee bar and order as many (free) coffees as you want across their entire brand. Clean, modern and worth a visit solely because it's free! Oh and the coffee wasn't too bad either read more

Went in to top up my Nespresso supply, and was thoroughly impressed today! The sales person, Gracie, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She explained the new coffees and serving suggestions, saw I hadn't been issued a card and promptly gave me one! Very satisfied and will definitely go back for service like that! The Nespresso Store on Regent Street is one of my favorites out of the Nespresso stores globally because it's well laid out and spacious. The people there are friendly and helpful. Definitely stop in if you're looking to buy sleeves of your favorite pods, try their newest flavor at their tasting bar or to purchase a machine and products. read more

Love concept. Love the coffee. The sample service today was horrible and inexcusably rude. I blame the management or lack thereof. There are typically 10 or more CUSTOMERS wanting to sample coffees that they, like myself, intend to purchase. Today there was no queue for samples. It was rather a free-for-all with people simply stepping up to the bar requesting a sample only to be told by the server to wait in queue - that did not exist. I am a frequent customer and waited where the queue usually is. After taking a seat a requested a Cosi with milk. The server simply stated "we have none". I thought that was strange. I then requested a different type of coffee with milk. She then very rudely replied that they have no milk! Why didn't she say that? I asked for the Cosi - no milk. She served it but walked away before offering sugar. I tried several times to get her attention to no avail. She told me she was helping someone else the walked away. 10 minutes later when my coffee was cold she entertained my request for sugar. I finished the cold coffee and started putting on my coat. At this point, another server saw me and told me rudely that I had to wait in queue! I was furious. I politely told her that I was just sitting there and was leaving. They need to learn some customer service skills or they will lose my business. read more

Travelled 30 miles to test out the nespresso experience at this shop and what a joke. Really rude customer service. "Are you a member" will not sell these machines. I was so looking forward and hoping to try the coffee and sample some machines but I was unable as I was NOT A MEMBER! Purchased a competitors product instead. read more

We had a WONDERFUL experience sampling and purchasing coffee from this store. We've been walking to all the touristy sites all day, and were sapped of energy by the time we arrived to the store at 3pm. Visiting this store was high on my husband's list while in London, since the price of the pods were half that of the US, and he wanted to buy a large stash to bring back home. We sat down at the sample counter and Catherine was gracious in letting us try several different flavors of coffee to see what flavors we liked best. We also had good cheerful conversation with her, which was an unexpected bonus. When we were ready to purchase we had another wonderful associate (sorry, we didn't catch her name, but I think she was the manager) help my husband with deciding in different flavors and such. She definitely wins the award for being patient, despite the fact that the store got pretty busy later on. The customer service was excellent on every level. Believe it or not, visiting this store was among the highlight of our touristy day.... amongst all the wonderful things we did today. Thank you all for a great experience!! read more
