I hate to be the one writing the bad review, but here it is. I've been to Amy's quite a few times and, although the shop itself is quite well stocked, I find the employees usually either indifferent or even sort of rude to customers.
I believe it is customary to greet customers when they enter one's shop, and to this day I have yet to experience any sort of smile or word from the gentleman who is usually at the door. Today was a new level of rudeness, in which I asked for help (I had to ask two different persons) - one told me he was busy with someone else and would come back for me, but just decided not to, the other told me he'd help, then proceeded to the back of the shop and started to fiddle with items, completely ignoring me in the process. It took me a few minutes to realise he wasn't coming back for me.
Needless to say, I left without what I was looking for and bought said item, instead, a few stores up the street, where I was treated to a "hello" upon arriving and a nice "have a great day" as leaving.
This was probably my last visit to the place. read more
