Well it seems Elias Läderach is the only Swiss chocolatier to have earned the title "World Chocolate Master". Dang.. he's like the Rocky of Chocolate?! I have to make sure there are no nuts or fruit in these chocolate pieces. I walk in to, what feels like chocolate heaven. There are so many choices! The counter person was helpful, I explained this gift is for my aunt and needs soft, delicate chocolate pieces. We chose a nice size white box that was wrapped in black lace. Very classy and it was the perfect gift for my aunt. I was offered a sample of the chocolates in the display case, I asked for a champagne truffle? I can taste why Elias Läderach is the World Chocolate Master. That chocolate was fire! Great chocolate shop located in the Smithaven Mall.

I asked for one sample and then right after I asked for a second of a totally different chocolate because I wanted to compare before making my purchase. As soon as I did this she said "you cant ask for another you cant get 3 and 4 you would have to get the variety pack". I said I only had one sample so far and I want to mix and match my own chocolates. How dare she. This place is not cheap and I wanted to make sure I purchased something I enjoyed. I ended up making a purchase that I was satisfied with because the other worker in the store was kind enough to allow me to sample 3 flavors in all. Chocolate is fresh and delicious but this worker left a bad taste in my mouth.

He opened up his huge plastic bin that had lots of candies/chocolates and started to introduce each item to me. I politely told him that we had lots of similar fundraising candies/chocolate sales going on and I did not think that I would like to buy any more, but then he refused to leave and begging for money to "helping other families in needs". He kept going on and on to say how important it was for me to give him money under this cold weather, especially he was not living in this neighborhood. I did not think much, but I felt sorry for him to be knocking on doors in this windy and cold night. I gave him a $5 donation so that I could send him away. I was curious what this New York Youth Club about and I looked it up on Google. Lots of negative news about this organization and I felt the program was the scam. While I don't believe that the kid would make up the "mission statement" of the organization, I believe the program itself was not right. How would you ask a young man to go out knocking on doors selling candies when it was only 30 degrees outside? How could he come to our neighborhood since he did not live around? With all these questions coming to my mind, I really feel that some sort of authority should look into this New York Youth Club.

You get 2 of the largest most perfectly crisp chicken breasts under a bed of vodka sauce and melted mozz. Enough to last you multiple meals! I also chose a side of pasta in vodka sauce which was huge and equally as delicious. It was the best chicken parm I have ever had. The service was also amazing. The restaurant was clean and really beautiful inside. The bar was hopping also if you like to sit at the bar instead of at a table! My husband and I decided we will be returning ASAP!

The decor as you enter is super cute and continues throughout the entire restaurant. They have a bar, a couple tables outside on Main Street and many different types of seating in the dining room. We were there on. Friday around 4pm and there was plenty of seating. Our server was quick attentive and friendly. She was also very knowledgeable and even provided recommendations. The food came out quick and was hot. One of the meals we ordered to split and they served us with it already split on 2 separate plates. They had a creative drink menu and had many creative food options. As I'm not a huge fan or red sauce, I was happy to see that I could get any of their meals with the vodka sauce. The fried gnocchi with the truffle sauce was so good we will definitely be back again. The chicken had a light breading that didn't take away from the taste of the meal. There is street parking and a shared lot in the back. It was a wonderful experience and meal and we will be back soon!
