He kept going on and on to say how important it was for me to give him money under this cold weather, especially he was not living in this neighborhood. I did not think much, but I felt sorry for him to be knocking on doors in this windy and cold night. I gave him a $5 donation so that I could send him away. I was curious what this New York Youth Club about and I looked it up on Google. Lots of negative news about this organization and I felt the program was the scam. While I don't believe that the kid would make up the "mission statement" of the organization, I believe the program itself was not right. They had a creative drink menu and had many creative food options. As I'm not a huge fan or red sauce, I was happy to see that I could get any of their meals with the vodka sauce. The fried gnocchi with the truffle sauce was so good we will definitely be back again. The chicken had a light breading that didn't take away from the taste of the meal. There is street parking and a shared lot in the back. It was a wonderful experience and meal and we will be back soon!
